The salad ingredients are fresh and taste good. However, the delivery process is unreliable and you can’t really structure a consistent budget or diet with them. The deliveries feel like they ship randomly. On what is meant to be a weekly schedule, sometimes they are too close together —two in the same week—and other times they’ve come two weeks after I finish the last week’s meals. I live in Jersey City, one mile outside of New York City so there should be no delivery impediments.

I enjoyed the shipments I received, however, they weren’t reliable. Several times when I was expecting a shipment, I received nothing even though I was charged. These were my lunches for the week so I had to find something else to eat. Two of the salads in the last shipment were bad. I notified their customer service but have still not received a refund. I wanted to love this service but, unfortunately the service was unreliable.

I just joined and I absolutely love the salads. Fresh, tasty and so convenient. I'm so happy I gave them a try!

Let me start by saying that I did love the salads. They were tasty, filling and convenient. I had been using them for several months before I bit into something hard. It was a small piece of sharp plastic. I looked in the salad further to find a second piece! There could have been more, but I either ate it or left it in the remaining salad. Hard sharp plastic is potentially dangerous to the soft tissue of your throat, stomach, etc. It looked like a salad container got shredded in with the salad. Needless to say, I was upset and contacted them and canceled my subscription. A couple of weeks later, I calmed down and chocked it up to a possible mistake. I know that things like this could happen and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt . But today, on my first time back on the subscription, I found yet ANOTHER piece of sharp plastic!!! I don't know what's going on over there, but they need better quality control. It is a health issue that needs correcting! I have canceled my subscription for good!!!!

The first few weeks started off great, but the last chef salad gave new meaning to "freshness". The turkey was discolored and some of the lettuce was wilted. The other salads were okay, so couldn't help but think the chef salad was OLD.
