GameFly Tracking Order Status

gamefly has an okay selection at the times things are released however the shipping is absolutely horrendous it says free shipping which is obviously great only you get your game or your movie in like 12 to 14 days it's extremely frustrating and annoying I've received titles before that I freaking forgot about that's how long they take even though it'll say shipped out it's like more like 12 days from the date it shipped out and they always blame the post office it's not the post office

Like most other people, I think Gamefly is pretty bad. I wanted to start renting Blu-Rays so I signed up for the 2 movies at a time plan. Unfortunately, there's no way to browse the entire Blu-Ray catalog without signing up first. I signed up and was shocked at how few Blu-Rays they actually have for rental. Almost everything is marked as TBD or coming soon. Now I know why they didn't let me browse the catalog first. It's because they hardly have anything. I can't speak for the game rental plans, but the movie rental plans are awful. I haven't really had problems with the turnaround time like many others, the discs have arrived relatively quickly but what good is that when they only have a few movies available for rent? I'm cancelling after I receive the last 2 movies in my queue.

I have had GameFly for quite some time and it just isn’t the same as it used to be. In less than one month (January 1-29) I have had two games go MIA in the mail, every return has taken over a week and a half to make it back to GameFly (some even over two weeks), and currently I returned a game two weeks ago and it is still MIA. Let me tell you why GameFly is not worth the money if the above didn’t tell you enough. If I didn’t have a two game out plan, then for the whole month of January I would have received only one game and the rest of my account for the entire month was spent lost or in transit. Is that really worth it? I think not.

Customer service is pretty pointless. I had to resend the exact email because the CS Rep didn’t event acknowledge my question. Gift cards are difficult to deal with. I redeemed mine and it set for a few days and I ended up having to contact CS and ask them to add it (essentially I lost time off of my 6 month gift card). The worst thing is the shipping. Your game rental spends more time in shipping than it does being played. Good concept, bad execution.

I don't really know why this site has such bad reviews but I'm guessing I've just had a different experience because this is my second time using gamefly and I think its great. Ive had no problems receiving games for the Nintendo switch and they even mailed my second game the day after I mailed back the first and they hadnt even received mine yet but they saw that I had sent it i guess and I received my second game before they evn had my first one back. Also the last time I used them before I moved I had sent back a game and it ended up lost in the mail somehow and they refunded me for a month of service. I really like this company, I thing their prices are reasonable, not great but eh.. also if you want to keep a game its often cheaper then you would get a used game anywhere else. I will be using them for a long time I think.
