I have two Blue Max lamps. I got them initially, to give me a "Boost" during the long, dark, rainy days after my Mom passed. These lamps helped me so much! NOW, they are both experiencing some aging issues, after SEVERAL years of faithful service! I called, about the switches that had given out, within 2 days, there were switches in my mail box, with simple, handwritten instructions for replacement! Now, the bulbs seemed unable to brighten, again, the gal that I spoke with told me how to replace them, with very little effort, and is sending new ballasts. This kind of CUSTOMER SERVICE is unheard of anymore, what a breath of fresh air!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

My medical doctor diagnosed me with Seasonal Affective Disorder told me about this company and I bought a desk lamp for myself years ago. I love it so much and use it every morning, especially in the winter and especially once the time "falls back" to daylight savings. We live in the upper midwest where we rarely see the actual sun for months. As my children became adults, we realized they also needed the health benefits of the full spectrum lights and I purchased three more. We had a problem with one of them and the company quickly resolved the matter in a very friendly manner. I pride myself on being a very informed consumer and I really appreciated the scientific articles within their site. I truly see a health benefit. My disposition is much nicer, just ask my husband!

This was ordered a month ago and we have still heard nothing. Nobody was rude and there has been no friction. There hasn't been anything. If it is not going to be coming anytime soon, an update would at least be nice.

Should have become wary when reading warranty data; hinted at MANY returns experiences. Adjusted the head four times (Flexible Neck); resulting in a FAILURE of the connection of the "Flexible Neck" and the bulb-holding head. Now I have an embarrassingly hanging neck with the light shining at 90 degrees from the post!! Of course I didn't store the 54" shipping container so I'm S--t out of luck. Should have bought from a store a lower-priced lamp recommended by my ophthalmologist. What a SPECIAL!! BUT LOOK AT THE MONEY I SAVED!! NEWS FLASH!!!!! Company contacted; apologized AND are sending a NEW replacement along with the "Authorized Return Label" so the faulty lamp can be packed in the NEW shipping container and returned at the company's expense, Thank YOU!!

Would have gave 4 stars but shipping cost more than bulbs. It was over 30 bucks to ship 2 4FT bulbs
