I have been using freshbooks over a year paying $200 for basically nothing. It does offer some features but the integration API is extremely unstable. Simply put, your accounts can unlink at any given time and if you are not constantly watching or checking the application you may have to go into you banking application and generate files for missing data. I deem it unuseful to me because that has been the case since the very beginning. Honestly, it's not worth the money that's paid. You most definately have to hire an additional book keeper or diy your accounting. Of course this system is probably configured the way to be able to market additional accounting features at a premium cost. If you have money to waste then this is your place but if you don't I highly suggest shopping elsewhere. I am chosing to close my account today. I gave it a good run and it's not a stress or workload reliever at all. Best of luck

Overpriced and not very user-friendly. I tried to update my subscription, but they've changed things so you need to contact them in order to do this. I called the number provided and a very monotone, unfriendly person explained I'd have to wait for an account manager to call me back to deal with it. The account manager did call me and was equally monotone and unfriendly. I asked to cancel my account and wasn't asked for a reason or feedback. I was asked if I wanted to retrieve any information and then told I'd receive an email confirmation when the cancellation had been completed; that's it. What was the point of having to call in to receive a call back to have my account cancelled, especially if they didn't plan on asking for feedback? They've given off an air of not caring at all. I'm glad I've cancelled. I definitely wouldn't want to spend another cent on a company that doesn't care or take pride in what they do.

Have been with them for about 8 years. They tend to take away good features. Not much of anything beneficial has evolved over that time. They don’t answer suggestions or questions. And now they seemed to have removed their contact link. I had to use Google to find their email. Seems very unorganized.

It was easy for they to respond or call me back when I 1st called, to join. Have called multiple times almost hour wait , even if you call in morning. Been trying fix my issue , all my tracking miles were erased after 3 months, doesnt track my miles .bank connected disabled on its on. Trying get refund to go back quick books. Good company but maybe they are falling behind . April 1 , 2024

I have been a client for about 8 years. Man have they changed the culture. All you need to know is that their customer service shows a human and you get, drum roll, a chat bot with no option of human contact. Even when you log in as an existing customer, the login is off to the side, the buy now button in the middle. Welcome to the new "Quickbooks"
