Don’t look for any favours from this company, it’s all about money! I bought a CCTV system from them and asked them to upgrade it to a bigger hard drive. They did this and charged me the full price of the bigger hard drive and not the difference between the two. When I asked them why, they said it was to cover the cost of installation and re-testing of the system. Ok I thought, fair enough, but as it turned out, all they did was install the hard drive, a 10 min job, and send it to me untested. They also kept the hard drive they removed! Anyway when I received the kit and after a few setup issues I found it wasn’t up to my expectations so I asked them if I could return it. They said yes, but it would be subject to a deduction because it had been tried out. I said ok, fair enough, and I returned it at my own cost by Special Next Day Delivery to ensure it arrived safely. Royal Mail tried to deliver it twice but couldn’t get a reply so it was returned to me. Now this is a place that is manned every day from 7am to 6pm, so I was informed! However after I got it back they sent me a label to return it again, this time they got it, it was left in their safe place, so still nobody there to collect it! However I eventually got my refund with a 20% deduction, and the final selfish act was they even took the £6 postage for the return label that they generated for me! All in all I am just shy of £100 out of pocket. Quite a hit for a pensioner! James.
