The Motley Fool CA Tracking Order Status

Their agressive upsell tactics started the moment I subscribed to stock advisor. You buy it,and then they make you feel you didn't get much, and that you need to go onpaying. It's a disgustingly greedy and self defeating tactic. I'm canceling my subscription.

I had previously used Motley Fool's services while living in the USA and was pleased with the information contained on their website. After moving back to Canada, I thought the service would be the same or similar, but I was wrong. Motley Fool Canada has a much more limited information and tools at the user's disposal, but they still charge the same (if not more) for their service in Canada. Additionally, you get spammed on a daily basis with offers to upgrade your service (which I did on signup), and you'll spend more time navigating the spam than you will getting any relevant info about stocks and investing. I consider my subscriptions to their so-called Epic Bundle to be a complete waste and regret spending my money with the Motley Fool Canada. The last stock recommendation I got was to buy Apple. Seriously? This is their in-depth research. Apple? I also got a SELL recommendation for TTD and then shortly after TTD was a BUY recommendation. What's next? Will they tell me to buy low and sell high? Save your money. Stay far away from this clown show.

I have gained useful insight from this sight a number of times but decided that I would cancel my subscription as I was not using it much. I have tried to contact them a number of different ways (phone, email) and have received no response. They auto renewed my subscription. Not sure if to fight the charge on my credit card or just cancel the card as they seem determined to keep me subscribed.

I have used the Motley Fool, Hidden Gems, Stock advisor and Dividend Investor for years, and was very happy with them until the last couple of years. Now picking good stocks is much more difficult I réalise, but I have been very disappointed with their advice, and with their lack of advice on previous reps that are tanking, or those that rose and should have been sold. I have lost all their previous gains In the last 2 years. And I think they are pushing too many specialized portfolios. The original Stock Advisor was very good. I think they should drop many of the specialized services and just go back to giving the ordinary investor better advice. I am about to drop their services after maybe 10 years.

I have used the Motley Fool services for 6 years & it has been very profitable. For me the independent research is valuable and I can then determine if the stock recommendation is a good fit for me. The forums are a good resource as well. Of course there are going to be some stocks that are less profitable. Overall, it’s an investing philosophy I believe in.
