Based on the reviews I expected nog so much, but it was a good experience. On time, service was good, online check in very good. Better than many other so-called A brand airliners!

I do think it quite ironic how most of the reviews say something about being charged for carry on when you book your ticket it is right there saying to pay for your carry on or checked bag now because it will be $$ at the airport. Two times this year as we waited to drop off our bags they had personnel going through and saying the same thing, if you did not pay for bag to do it now as it would be so much more if you hit the desk. If you went straight through and didn't pay before, maybe you should remember next time. Not the airlines fault you do not want to read

This is my updated review. The way down to rdu was less then ideal. The way back to Buffalo was different story. The flight back is way it should be and frontier gets 5 stars. Reviewers in my opinion should report positive experiences not just negative ones. The flight from rdu was on time. The gate attendants were competent and pleasant. The stewardess and pilots were top notch. The flight took off on time and arrived on time in Buffalo. This is the way should be. 5 stars was well earned. Job well done.

Terrible logistics. Plane was over 1 hour late. The people that work the boarding could care less. One frontier guy even started to yell at a passenger that was simply asking a question. Totally incompetent. What a mess. I know better but got sucked in bc it's one of few that have direct flight and the cost. Never again. To be fair. Now that its next day. The flight itself was good and stewardess and pilots were good. The plane also had a foul odor to it like wasn't cleaned properly after long day. I traveled at night at 6 pm. Also this whole thing about personal item and carry on item. I upgraded my seat both ways and still could only take a personal item. They wheel out a sizer which measures the size of your carry on and gate attendants say measure your bag before you board but they don't enforce or check themselves. Nobody said "my bag is too large..let me pay additional $99". They even charge you for soft drinks. Is the bottom line that tight? Nickel and diming for buck. They even try to get you to sign up for one of their credit cards. Embarrassing. I paid almost 300 bucks and have worry about whether my carry on or excuse me my personal item is too big. Overall not bad bc they maybe only direct flight from Buffalo to Raleigh NC. But this is a service industry and the emphasis SHOULD be (in large part) based on customer service. I think the whole company should get sensitivity training on how to make travel a pleasant experience. And understand that people have plans and can't be unduly delayed bc frontier can't or doesn't care about being on time as advertised.
