I hate this company so much I want to stop strangers from losing time and money. My first Floyd experience was pretty good. I have the sofa in birch/oat and I actually find the quality to be really good. However, this is the most uncomfortable couch which isn’t their fault since it is made of wood and I should have known better. It’s more for show looks great. Since I was happy with the quality of the couch I decided to go for the king size bed with headboard in walnut. This shipped relatively fast and I was pleasantly suprised. When the bed frame arrived the headboard and bed platform itself were two totally different colors and material. The headboard seemed like it was correct but the bottom was so different I can’t even understand what had happened. Nightmare trying to get ahold of customer service. You can send an email and wait 5-7 days for each response or you can call a phone number that’s hard to find only to get the answering machine or a person who has to transfer you to a department that is out right now. Anyway, finally get a hold and my options are a refund where I have to back up the bed or I could keep the entirely wrong bed for $200 less (Aka $1800 for a mismatched bed lol) so we went with the former. 12 weeks later I get an email saying my bed shipped. 3 weeks after that I get an email saying that there was a fire at the warehouse my bed is at and it’s gonna be another 9-13 weeks. I have now arranged to be completely refunded by floyd and not get a replacement because I am done. I’ve waited nearly 5 months for a 2000$ bed and they couldn’t even give me a phone call about the fire and ask me what I wanted to do. Oh and to make it better they have offered a $70 gift card for my inconvenience which is really just an incentive to give them more money because you can’t touch even a side table for less than 250$

This is to balance out the inherent bias of reviewing (i.e. people are more likely to write one in case of a bad experience). I bought the Floyd sofa, delivery from XPO was fine, and the sofa is extremely solid, well designed and manufactured. I'm very happy with it!

A very satisfactory purchase of the Bed and Mattress, from online order to delivery and return. Delivery was made after about 4 weeks by XPO. XPO was timely , efficient and very professional: they called a day ahead of delivery, confirmed delivery on the date and 30 minutes before arrival. They helped put all the boxes neatly in a corner of our home. Return of the storage was easy with refund credited quickly. Assembly: we recommend watching the Floyd video on YouTube (not the others) before opening the boxes then rewatching it during the assembly. For the storage, highly recommend that you assess the dimensions and watch the video first before deciding. Do not destroy the boxes and their padding until the very end. Storage: assembly is cumbersome. Requires that you undo the straps that have been fixed under the bed (a task that is not that easy as the bed is low); and then you will end up not using 2 or 4 bases (2 for each storage). Storage place is very small. In summary: we love the minimalist style of the bed and its low height. Floyd products are of quality and its services, including XPO, are customer-oriented, fair and very good.

Floyd unfortunately delivers with XPO (look up XPO on TrustPilot). We had all kinds of trouble getting the delivery sorted out (XPO was very unprofessional and unhelpful). Floyd doesn't list a phone number on their site. Email communication was slow. I'd give the Floyd bed platform itself 4 out of 5 stars. The assembly video was helpful. I'm not sure we'd buy again from Floyd. Though we're happy with the bed (hence three stars), getting it was rough. I was marketed and priced like a premium product but the experience was not even average.

The bed is less than stellar. It was disappointing to realize just how low to the ground it is--I couldn't even slide certain storage containers underneath. You'll need something in between the mattress and platform bed to keep the mattress from sliding around on top of it. Personally, I think the headboard attachment is necessary, but that unfortunately, that will run you extra. Concept was good, marketing was great, but it simply didn't meet expectations.
