I ordered a new AVII 61 Strat from an interstate store that came to me with some issues requiring a return and replacement. Unfortunately, the store didn't have a suitable replacement available. To my surprise I was contacted by Fender who wanted to help resolve the situation. They had an excellent AVII in stock in the warehouse and working with the store they were able to sort out the return and replacement of the guitar. Throughout the process the Customer Service Representative at Fender was friendly, open to discuss the issues and ways to resolve them, quick to respond, and just generally an all-round good bloke. It made the whole situation go from 'aw crap' to 'awww yeah!'. So stoked with the outcome!

I have an sd-60 auostic. It’ll only get better with age, replace an occasional string, (Ernie Ball for me - Sorry Fender) Always works, no online updates, viruses, knobs, no Amp… Classic. I have strats and amps too - touch wood they last as long as me…. Will probably need a rewire/pots at some point!

It is extremely disappointing that my experience with the Fender Telecaster International Tele SB - Made in Japan is overshadowed by a constant humming in the amp. Despite my efforts to try different amps and eliminate all potential sources of interference, this persistent noise persists. This raises serious questions about quality control, especially for a globally renowned brand like Fender. It's frustrating that the humming is present in all positions of the pickups, and it seems that even basic measures like removing other devices from the circuit can't resolve the issue. As a dedicated guitarist, I am deeply disappointed that a supposedly prestigious brand like Fender would release products with such fundamental problems. The fact that this humming persists despite all efforts raises questions about the quality control and overall reliability of Fender guitars. It's regrettable that such a significant investment doesn't deliver the expected sound and performance. This experience has profoundly shaken my trust in Fender, and it will undoubtedly be the last time I purchase a Fender product!

It's not so much that my rating is great for the products that I have bought from Fender itself. Actually, I have either had some bad luck or they send out the best to the companies that sell them. I have too many Fender guitars and amplifiers to count. The maintenance is grueling as I go through them each month. I check the strings, I make sure the rosewood versions are probably oiled if needed, I check the neck and frets especially the fret ends in case of a little shrinking from drying and I play them to make sure that all is well and fix the electronics if I find the littlest flaw during testing. Polish them up and move on to the next. This is usually throughout the month and the products I have received from whatever store have been great. I had have had a issue with the US Acousticsonic. Fender actually reminded me that my warranty was longer than I thought myself and has quickly given a nearby resolution to the problem. The guitars, mostly acoustic guitars that I have ordered from Fender.com have not been up to par. I fix guitars just don't need to start fixing them brand new. They outsource most acoustic guitar to Indonesia. They make some great guitars for other companies in Indonesia, just have not gotten one without a more than adjustment problem from Fender.com. They politely took every one back and sent me a black Fender T-shirt for the inconvenience. I don't think that they are trying to just give away T-shirts and brings me to the conclusion that just some bad luck. You can make a guitar perfect and by the time a customer receives it things in the wood can change. My shipping was perfect shape always. Things didn't work out with the guitars, it happens no matter what you spend or with what company. The customer service was extremely considerate and with guitars and amplifiers that is definitely the most important part ordering online. A&W modified D. Schmitt (owner)
