Expedia NZ Tracking Order Status

Do NOT use Expedia. This is a warning - they are not only terrible but do not comply with New Zealand law. They do not offer a complaints solution about themselves. Sure, you can complain about a hotel - but Expedia do not take complaints about their own service. I have tried requesting my data under the Privacy Act 2020 - they refuse to give it which is illegal in New Zealand. It's virtually impossible to even make a request. Their Agents will only send you coipies of reservations and say they cannot send anything else. They accept no liability for errors. They emailed me someone else's booking cancellation - and told me I must have done it. The arrogance and ineptitude is staggering. I can only urge people to NOT use this company - or do so at your own risk. Avoid.

I booked a return flight from the UK to NZ with Expedia. I spent 3 hours on the phone trying to change it, only to find out it had been cancelled - the reason given was 'we can't debit your credit card to make the change' despite the fact this was the card they held on file. I finally managed to talk to a supervisor to rebook the flight and then it was booked at the incorrect time! By this time I had complete despair over having to phone again thankfully the last guy I spoke to had fixed it for the correct time or date. The calls go through to India and the agents are unable to think outside the box or solve problems, & don't even LISTEN to what you are asking for. I would recommend anyone avoid booking with them! I will book directly with airlines wherever possible to save time and hassle in future!
