We booked a holiday to Eurocamp France for the week. On arrival we were very unhappy with the accommodation. We spoke to the site who advised we could not be moved or upgrade. We spoke to Jen- one of the Eurocamp advisors- who fought for us to be moved. Within a couple of hours we were moved from a small chalet that had a bad smell, was left unclean, a tree that we had to duck under and we kept having to sweep up every hour which stopped us from eating outside. To be then moved to a bigger, much more clean chalet…and it was VERY clean! We would like to thank Jen for helping us enjoy our holiday to its fullest.

Not sure what has changed in the last few years, but Eurocamp isn’t what it used to be. Caravan is very old and run down. The ceiling skin inside has started coming down and some weight weed growing between the shower and the wall. Shower itself was utterly useless as you had to be pressed up again the wall to even get wet. Whoever fitted it put it in the wrong place. I do not like the whole ‘clean your own caravan’ before you leave. As soon as you arrive on site, you are being told to make sure you clean it. The day before you leave, being reminded to make sure you sweep and wash the floors, clean the shower, toilet, sink and to make sure you wash everything up, dry and put it away. We go on holiday to have a break. Last thing on minds is to totally clean a caravan, we leave it presentable with minimal cleaning to do but shouldn’t be expected to do everything. Book a multi trip for next year which I am going to cancel as I am not cleaning 4 caravans during the trip.

Terrible terrible.. Countless problems at la Chapelle in Argeles sur mer. After driving to campsite on arrival, we called to ask which landmarks we should look out for to find out campsite as there are literally 100s of them dotted along main strip. Reps didn't have a clue, couldn't give us any directions, no landmarks given. They didn't even know whether campsite was based in north or south beach. We finally found it on our own after reps said "sorry we don't know where we are based" it's a huge campsite and we're left to find our lodge no reps bothered to show us. Reps not bothered when we arrived. Sub standard utilities incl BBQ, it didn't work, gas bottle leakage throughout our 2 weeks, stuck at top of site without any English people around us. (We requested some English fams around us for our daughter, no such luck!! Reps are terrible here . We were told by head office we would be moved, we weren't, no reps came to see us. We just put up with it. When we trekked down to reception to advise on empty gas bottle and thought there maybe a leak somewhere a man rep said " well I'm finishing work now, it on the list" just really terrible customer service all round. They turned up but no apologies for inconvenience. Eurocamp used to be excellent, not anymore. My advice cut out the middleman and pay direct to site for your accomodation. I thought it would be safe going through a company in case of emergencies but they really are no help at all

Een mooie nette stacaravan met een leuke veranda. Er waren alleen wel wat min punten. De deksels van de pannen ontbraken. Het lampje bij de afzuigkap deed het niet en de wifi was buitengewoon slecht. We hebben hier contact overgehad maar werden van het kastje naar de muur gestuurd. Dan moesten we bij roompot zijn, terwijl roompot ons naar eurocamp verwees. Er wordt geadverteerd met wifi dus dan ga je er vanuit dat dit werkt. Verder is het jammer dat de stacaravan tussen de particuliere caravans staat hierdoor mis je het contact met andere vakantiegangers. We hadden een verzoek om naast vrienden te staan. Hier verschillende keren over gebeld waarbij eurocamp moeilijk te bereiken was en geen garantie kon geven. De huisnummers werden later bekend gemaakt. Maar dit had dus al eerder gekunt aangezien er maar 1 eurocamp caravan tussen de particuliere caravans staat. Jammer dat dit niet duidelijk is voordat je boekt. Dan hadden we iets anders gekozen.

Had the misfortune to be contracted to this organisation on several occasions. The staff are incredibly unprofessional and inept, the "safeguarding" officer Elsdon was one of the most miserable, curt and empathyless individuals ever encountered in the workplace.
