EmbarkVet Tracking Order Status

I got my baby girl Gertie during the pandemic. We were told she was a schnoodle mix when we bought her, but just couldn't be sure. She seemed to be all Shnauzer and no Poodle from her looks so we were skeptical! Doing the Embark test was super easy, it took about 2 weeks to get results, and it turned out she was all schnoodle! I'm giving these to all of my family this year for Christmas!

We toke the DNA for fun and the result was a mix of four breeds. Three of the breeds did I more or less expect but the seven percent Rottweiler was a surprise, but we can absolutely see it in her body shape.

Very pleasant experience from start to finish! Got our test, set up an account and sent off the samples in the prepaid box, once it got to the US it was very speedy! I sent them off around the 4th Jan and had her results back on the 30th! So much detail, really happy with it, love that you can see a breakdown and consisted of breeds we knew about and answered the questions of the others. Although our dog looks like a full Australian terrier, and has been mistaken by one by breeders, I was well aware she was 100% not one and was a yorkie mix, sorted out my curiosity, thank you

First time ever I've tried that the company doesn't include a prepaid return label for customers outside USA. I've done quite a few DNA samples, all from USA and they always include international return labels. Shipping ended up being 1/3 of the price of the products, and a huge hassle to send a package to USA with confusing adresses and having the fill in customs/import papers and so on. I almost gave up filling in the correct shipment with the customs/import, never in my life seen such a difficult system. This completely ruined the customer experience for me, and I wont choose Embark for dog DNA alone because of this.

Fantastic service, fast results once they have the dna sample, great support service with fast replies. When you live outside the USA, the costs for sending the sample to them are on you but they do pay back the customs invoice immediately. Everything is clearly indicated on their website so people complaining about these points didn't read well.
