Eatwith Tracking Order Status

J’ai pu découvrir Eatwith lors d’un voyage à Séville et c’était une vraie découverte. Difficile de comparer une expérience à autre chose - le fait de manger avec un hôte, de prendre le temps d’échanger et ensuite découvrir la ville grâce à ses conseils est absolument magique. J’en referai régulièrement !

I recently went through Vizeat to share a dinner while traveling abroad. I met wonderful people and tried beautiful local food in a nice place. Totally worth the experience and the price. It changes the way you travel : meeting locals, eating local.

So far I find the website user experience deceptive. Particularly the way they present star rating associated with reviews. They have chosen two shades of orange that basically look so similar that it's easy to confuse a 5 star rating (bright orange stars) with a 1 star rating (also orange stars but a subtle shade darker). Really?? Take a cue from Trustpilots designers - make it clear. Then when you filter by one specific date they offer you events that are either already sold out or are not on the date you requested - I guess to expose you to more product... Why not just look at AirBnB's website and UX and replicate that? For example search by map, activity AND date. Right now the map isn't very useful. Also, when you put in your filter criteria and (I guess) hit return it's not clear where your results show up. If anywhere.. And if London is your search criteria why show people dinners in Epsom?? The blue flash "Your booking will automatically be accepted" is useless - particularly when the dinner is already SOLD OUT. It's possible that the dining experiences are worth 5 stars but I'm not sure I'm going to get that far because of their website... Based on this experience trying to book something is just too much hassle so I'll look elsewhere.

Everyone should try Eatwith ex Vizeat because it's best way to discover local people having a nice dinner with them!!! I give them 10 for this great idea!

Dinner with Marie-Astrid in her wonderful Paris home was perfection. He home was charming, as was she and the delightful Remy. Our conversation was warm, interesting, and they made us feel like valued friends. This evening was the highlight or our stay in Europe. Oo la la! Vizeat is a brilliant concept and it exceeded our expectations. Did I mention that she is a talented cook? The Apricot tart with homemade pastry crust was to die for!
