Earth Class Mail Tracking Order Status

Wow, I'm a little shocked by these low reviews. I have complaints but its not THAT bad. They have several bugs that they never fix and the biggest problem is that they take like TWO WEEKS to scan your mail. This is a financial liability for any business, not seeing IRS notices on time for instance and getting hit with thousands of dollars of fines. They are slow because they dont scan your mail at your location. They save up your mail for like a week, ship it all once a week to Oregon, THEN begin the scanning process. Also the check depositing never seems to work, my bank always rejects the checks. Don't count on that. If your business never has anything time sensitive this is the service for you. Pricing: unlike PostScanMail, ECM does proper scans of all your mail and includes a lot of them for the basic $60/ mo or whatever it is. PSM charges far less liek $15/mo, but they are terrible at scanning (they just take separate sideways photographs of each page of the mail... like, wow). And you're charged if you want a lot of them. On the upside they have the best UX that I have seen for ANY scanning company. In that respect they are the standard bearer. I feel like when Tim Ferris talked them up in the early 2000s they got a big head and are resting on their laurels a little.

Service works well, for those without a permanent address or those traveling a lot. But their fees are absurd and they raise them frequently. Their latest affront was to charge me $50 to cancel my plan. Avoid these scumbags at all costs.

weve used them for our business for years. the main HIDDEN ISSUES that I wish people knew is that they are SLOW. after they get your mail, they then ship it to Oregon for scanning - they only have one scan location. and I dont think they use expedited couriers, because it can take TEN DAYS for them to process your info. The second thing is that they charge you a LOT to ship yourself things. they can easily get cheap shipping but they puff it up again to over the counter rates so they can make lots of money off you. In summary, there is the hidden fees of shipping, and hidden problem that they take 10 days to give you your scans.
