The booking was easy, but the SMS message I received was incomplete and I would have preferred an email version, as I made the booking via my mobile and was unable to print the booking confirmation as I do not have a compatible printer. Eventually I was able to share the booking link to my messenger and email and print a copy from my pc.

5 days ago - I wrote the following review below and DriveNow have since contacted me and offered a full refund. Thank you. Drivenow website (in July 2018) says there are no hidden fees, no extra fees or charges, no booking fees and no extra fees or charges if you cancel within 4 weeks. Well, I initially wanted to change my rental period - the amendment and upgrade fees were almost 3 times as much than just making another booking, which I was forced to do, and cancel the original booking. Even though they claim there are no cancellation fees within 4 weeks of hire - they will definitely keep your deposit - which was $250 in my case. They blame the downstream supplier (Apollo in this case) but either way it's an unfair charge if you do need to change your booking or cancel. DriveNow claim the extra charges on the downstream individual rental companies but when you contact the particular rental company they won't help you, and bounce you back to DriveNOW. The rental car industry needs to be more regulated so they advertise the total cost of hire simply including insurances ,admin charges and cancellation fees - Hiding all this relevant information in complex websites does not help the industry.
