Deskmate Tracking Order Status

Good product, quick delivery, bought the desk for home working and really happy so far.

The deskmate is NOT what it looks like on the website or Instagram. Do not fall for it like we did. Our experience was so similar to what other people describe here, that I'm hitting myself that I didn't read these reviews before buying. The desk arrived with no instruction manual. Several of the parts were roughly cut and badly finished, with parts badly glued and edges that are not smooth. Once put together the desk was wobbly and not suitable for home working. When I complained I was told that "sanding it down will fix the rough edges". Like other people, I was offered a 15% discount or a replacement part. I was going to accept the replacement part but realised that wouldn't fix the issue so ended up returning the whole desk, which cost me about £10 to pack up and I had to wait 3 weeks for collection.

Arrived quickly, good sturdy desk, I have two computers and my keyboard on it, still have spare room for journal/notepad. Would reccommend.

A great concept. I am a fan of well machined and finished quality plywood. What arrived fell far short of my expectations. Some of the screw holes did not align well and the finish was anything but 'hand finished': I got splinters when handling the sides, and there were some examples of the ply being dented/damaged. Once built it did not have the stability needed for a working desk. Overall, this was not fit for purpose. I advised the supplier in April, and only now - mid-July - is the matter concluded with the refund also of the postage cost of returning it, after many emails.

Fantastic desk. Very happy with purchase. Lots of desk space without taking up hardly any space due to the ergonomically friendly fold down mechanism. Highly recommend
