Have always liked Ryan and this company. Glad to find them exponentially expanding.

I did one of their free courses, which was delivered via a podcast with a few slides. I don't think this is the best way to deliver information as the brain remains is passive mode. When I tried to contact CFI to see if this was typical of their course delivery, there was no easy way to do this. This is similar to the way the CFA operates, which is a detached experience, not immersive and supportive. Not conducive to motivation and learning IMO.

I would recommend it to anyone. It is a great experience. The platform is easy to access and the course material is very rich. It gives only the necessary information and training you need to succeed better in your job.

Gives a basic overview of every sector in the world of financial services. I don't recommend it unless you are seeking a very basic overview. Canadian based only as well so if you are elsewhere in the World, don't bother. They don't give you the answers when you are done a quiz so you are left wondering what the correct answer was for that particular question. Go pursue University or accounting designations. Go get stockbroker licenses if that is what you want to do so you can sell that stuff and more. What you will learn in the licensing material is more in depth than what is covered in CFI program. Instead of feeling left in the dark after you are done a quiz, you'll get better in depth understanding and have a license to sell financial products. CFI is a waste of time and $$$. Maybe good for people who just want a surface level overview.

I have spent over 20 years working in finance/reporting sector. Last year I have started my CFI journey for FMVA certificate and it was a excellent experience. I have enjoyed every single course. It is so well structured and focused on important aspects for finance professionals. I can certainly state that it has developed my skills in so many ways. FMVA certificate is defenetly a program I would recommend to fellow finance proffesionals and CFI as respectable institution. Keep up the great work CFI team. Edo Dvizac
