[EDITED 9/21]: - Adding 2 stars after receiving a fast response to my order cancellation request. Very good, this is important. - Adding 1 star for their reply (non-generic, responsive, by a human) to a negative feedback/general inquiry email message I had sent over the weekend. Response was received on a Monday morning. - Final note: Might purchase bars again at Whole Foods, Target, or Giant Eagle (Ohio). Will not use website again. -- [Original review] This company has all the hallmarks of a small business that needs improvement in customer service and online sales: (1) Slow order fulfillment (over 1 week, no shipping or status update). (2) Slow response (or none?) to inquiries. 2 business day turn-around, they say. Wow, really? 2 days? This is not fast enough. Why on earth would it take these guys 2 days? Is it some Covid excuse? Puh-lease. Like they get that many emails. (3) Starting a new enticing sales event before even fulfilling pending orders… um, this is a big no-no. Think about it. Imagine there are customers still waiting for their orders to ship, and meanwhile, you lower the price on items contained in those pending/unfilled orders. How would you feel if you were a customer? I could see how a customer would want to cancel the pending order immediately and re-purchase at the new lower sale price. This creates a hassle for both sides. And given this company’s lack of communication, there is no way to know if they would even act on a cancellation request. (4) Website contact form does not work on Safari browser due to reCaptcha error. As for their bars, I have tried one and didn’t really think it was that great. One of my family members is diabetic, and he thought it was good. I noticed that Target did a 50% off sale via Circle, which makes me think that the bars are probably not selling very well. Anyway, I won’t knock the bars. I do not like the customer service aspect so far, so it is 1 star for the time being.
