Chester Zoo Tracking Order Status

Visited the zoo for an evening experience having been a member for a number of years . I have always found Chester Zoo to provide excellent facilities and the Zoo staff extremely professional and helpful . Last night I turned up for the evening activity’s unfortunately the artists did not ! The keepers chats at the Lions and Tigers were fantastic and very informative. My main complaint for the evening was the choice of food for the evening what has happened ?! Last year fantastic choices of various foods and mocktails for both adults and children , this year a hot dog sausage in a plain bun in a foil wrapper for £6.50 ?! Ok the larger restaurant by the large play area offered the usual fish & chips , burgers and pizza if you were prepared to wait upto an hour ?! Coffee was not available in restaurant they had closed it for the evening ?! Surely you could have pulled a couple of catering staff from somewhere to make coffees and hot drinks on such a damp evening ?! . All in all 100% for Chester Zoo keepers staff whoever is responsible for the catering operation needs some serious support as you are missing so many opportunities.

Amazing day out plenty of animals plenty of amenities only let down was the aquarium I felt it was like being in the garden centre buying fish. Amazing zoo makes up for it, well worth going and can't wait to go again.

An ok zoo experience but maybe too big and spaced apart. This meant I had to miss some of my favorite animals.

I absolutely love this zoo as its a conservation zoo this is the only reason I would ever visit a zoo been lots of times and always had the best time the animals are very well looked after but they are pricing themselves out, we went yesterday evenings four adults it’s not cheap to go but the price of food was an absolute joke we got 4 very small Giros three with chicken one mushroom they came with a handful of chip and we got 3 small cokes and a small bottle of lemonade how can they justify charging £70 won’t rush to go back x
