Cannot be trusted to be honest.

FIrst, I was unable to leave a review directly on their site, so I will leave it here. Three days after placing my order I receive an e-mail stating that one of the group of items I ordered was not available and I needed to make a decision so they could send the entire order out. I had ordered a new humidor and a humidity upgrade kit. The gel humidifier for that kit was sold out so they said they would replace it with a different one at no cost, as long as it wasn't specific humidifiers. There were no other options except basic cheap humidifiers, so basically they were going to keep all of the money for the kit and give me garbage replacement instead. After several back and forth e-mails I realized they were going to do nothing to make it right so I told them to cancel the order. Then, and only then, did they say that the humidor had already been shipped. Pretty convenient that it already shipped after I was told it hadn't. My intention at this time is to return the humidifier unopened as I have obviously learned that their customer service is non-existent.

My experience with Cheaphumidors.com ..DISAPPOINTED

My experience with Cheaphumidors.com hasn’t been favorable at all. It started off bad and only got worse. My package was being tossed around from on USPS to ANOTHER. I paid $23.00 for express shipping and didn’t get my package for 6 days.... I can honestly live with that BUTTTTTT I can’t with my purchase itself. I ordered the ammo can humidor.. Yes, I expect the “worn” look however, I didn’t expect it to have yellow paint splattered all over it and the lettering they painted yellow smeared over the front of the box. I think this is unacceptable. I didn’t have unrealistic expectations on ordering an ammo can humidor. I get it will have “bruises, but not SMEARED LETTERING AND YELLOW PAINT SPLATTER!! I contacted customer service and was told since I ordered the humidor and paid extra to have the Army Crest on it, I’m unable to return it because it’s a “personalized” order. I understand their policy to a degree. So, if they ship out “crap” and it’s personalized, I have to accept that?? $140 later and it is a no win situation. I NEVER write reviews, however I felt compelled to do so this time. I will also be reaching out to my social media blogs.... We as consumers need to be aware of such policy’s!!!! Buyer beware!!!!

Beware Canadian Customers

****BEWARE CANADIAN CUSTOMERS*** I placed a $90 order and US customs wanted $170 in duties, so I sent the order back. Cheaphumidors.com will not issue you a refund on cigars. There is no way to know what customs will charge you to get your cigars to Canada….I’m out $90

Buyer Beware

When I didn't receive the items on a Monday I reached out to Customer Servce through their email system. With no response I reached out again on Tuesday. On Wednesday I received an email stating the website was wrong when I ordered the 15 humidors and they're actually out if stock. I had already purchased $300 worth of cigars to go in these humidors as gifts to my customers that week. I paid the extra shipping to get the items by that Monday as I flew out of town that Tuesday morning. Both of my emails on Monday and Tuesday Requested they ship to my hotels in two separate cities that week so I could give to my customers. Furthermore I begged them to let me know ASAP if they could NOT do this so I could find an alternative solution. I got an email on Wednesday simply telling me the items had shipped. At that point I figured I would ship the Christmas presents to those customers and have the remaining humidors to hand out to additional customers this week. When the shipment arrived the humidors were not included. What I received was the free gifts. I quickly checked my email to see they had refunded the money to my account. Not having enough time to have anyone ship a similar product to me, I flew out the following Monday, December 15th unable to provide the Christmas presents to those customers as well. I attempted to contact David Sabot, President of Cheaphumidors.com to no avail. He has himself well insulated and apparently does not want to be bothered by the likes of a customer. I'll have the time over the holidays to post every where I can online about this horrible experience with cheap humidors.com. I depended on them like I have in years past to deliver. They did not. But here's the worst part; it's never about the fact you made a mistake of failed a customer. It's ALWAYS about how you recover from it. If someone had got back to me on that Monday and offered an alternative solution or at the very least let me know they couldn't deliver, I could have found an alternative solution. Instead I got strung out and had nothing to give my customers as I traveled 8 different cities over a two week period of time. And if anyone at cheap humidors.com bothers to read this, I'm certain they'll dismiss it and move on with their day. Including David Sabot.
