I had a really excellent customer…

I had a really excellent customer service experience where the agent went above and beyond to help me. The products I ordered for my face didn’t work for me, unfortunately, but I do still love the squalane oil and will continue using it.

Okay, but not great.

I recently tried Biossance's Squalane Moisturizer. The smell was terrible, but the product itself felt nice and provided a good layer before makeup. That said, it's hard to get over the scent. Hopefully they'll reformulate.

Golden Skin-Safe Products and Constant Sales!

Incredible Skin-Safe Products and Sales year-round to keep you coming. Most of their products are EWG skin-safe verified, so you can feel at ease knowing you are not putting harmful toxins on your skin. **this recently appears to have changed since they introduced a new retinol serum, and non-plant-derived retinol is not considered skin safe! I would like to see the company offer more transparency and discuss why they chose to use this ingredient instead of boasting how their formula is non-irritating. What about the other risks EWG lists on retinol though? Is the retinol concentration in Biossance's new serum much lower than what numerous scientific studies have found correlated with some serious health issues? I get wanting to use one of the best ingredients that wipes away wrinkles, but for a brand that prides itself on clean, safe ingredients, I stress that a better explanation is needed. Anyhoo, despite that one recent hiccup, they can keep their 5 stars with me. I have been using Biossance about a year now, and my skin is so happy! I struggled for so long with redness, dryness, splotchy and acne-prone skin, and this has really improved my skin tone and reduced non-hormonal acne breakouts (alongside a healthier diet). I still get menstrual hormonal breakouts, but even the best creams cannot stop this. A special shoutout to their suncreen: it is incredible. Great non-white application, light, and does not break me out! Now, I see a lot of bad customer service reviews, but I personally have had only positive experiences. I had to have help transferring points and general account questions, and everything went smoothly. They do take a few days to get back to you though, but I'm not a queen, I can wait a few days. It wasn't unreasonable. I also got properly refunded when an item went out of stock after I ordered, although I did not get a notification that it did go out of stock (I had email access issues and an account merge though, so maybe that was the problem). Note: I have not had to deal with any return or wrong item shipment or charges issues so I cannot speak to this.

i ordered eye cream last december

i ordered eye cream last december. i didn't open it until recently because i actaully received the same eye cream as a gift so i used that one first. when i opened the one i purchased, the cream didn't appear the same as the first. i emailed biossance customer service. i sent them pictures and they immediately apologized. they offered to ship a new one or refund. i chose to have a new one sent since i really enjoy the product. i received quickly and seamlessly. overall, customer service was polite and accommodating.

The absolute worst customer service

I placed an order for one item and a gift set on 2/3/22. When the package arrived, it only contained the item, and the gift set was missing. I reached out to customer service via chat. They advised that a replacement would be sent immediately. I didn’t hear anything back for a week so I reached out to customer service again. I tried the chat again and was advised via automated message that I could leave a message and someone would respond in 72 business hours (so two weeks?!), and also left a message at the number provided. Almost a week later and still no response so I sent an email. I received a response a few days later advising that a replacement would be sent and then another email asking if it was okay to send the individual items since the gift set was sold out. Another week passed with no updates or shipping info. I emailed again. The customer service rep surprisingly only took 2 days to respond and advised I should receive shipping info in 1-2 days. It is now 9 days later and more than a month since my order was placed. I was also given a promo code for $10 off that will probably expire before I receive my order. It really stinks that their customer service is so awful because their products are pretty decent if they actually send them. Update: After several more emails back and forth with customer service, my order was refunded, but I was assured that I would still receive the items. Two weeks later and 8 weeks after my initial order, I received the items.
