Pulled out of line before security and told my carryon bags must be checked on a simple hop from london to Europe. BA then failed to load ANY bags onto that aircraft. Seat power did not work. Departed late. Arrived later. I received more apologies from BA on this flight than all others combine. I had been focused on the BA brand as I felt it a premium brand and worth the few extra dollars. They have deteriorated. How does the CEO justify the more than £1.8 million pounds when he’s driving into the ground. Easy jet treats me poorly for half the cost.

Have had a complaint going on over a year now. You can never speak to anyone and it can only be submitted thru an online portal. Problem is, you don't get a copy sent to yourself when you submit it. This needs to be reviewed. They closed my complaint after I had written 3 times and I was going to let the matter drop as I was fed up but decided to submit yet another one. I've now been waiting 6 weeks and still have no response. I will be writing to the CEO as this system is ridiculous. The poor customer service team bear the brunt whilst the complaints team sit behind them!!! They dont allow you to speak directly to anyone and you cannot reply to the emails you received, you have to submit it again thru the portal!!! The replies I did get were from a different person who clearly didn't familiarise themselves with my case.

British Airways your policy of forcing customers to put their backpacks under their seats to accommodate other passengers oversized luggage is ridiculous. I paid for a suitcase in the hold and had a backpack rather than a large (in some cases massive) carry on suitcase. To thank me for paying for a suitcase you try to force me to put my backpack under the seat taking up the very limited leg space I have. You seriously need to reconsider this policy and like all airlines you need to manage hand luggage far better.

Just used BA from Newcastle to Dubai with a change at Heathrow, first time I have used BA for over 5 years and got to say I can see a number of changes, flight from Newcastle to Heathrow was on time and very good , the flight from Heathrow was the opposite, the 787 airline was disappointing and the service was also not what you expect from BA, ran out of meals of the flight, the cabin was cold!! and when I asked if it could be turned up the stewards said no problem but never did anything??? Then to cap it all off, water started to drip from above and when I told the steward all I got back was its the air conditioning so don't worry, it did not sit well with me to see a great airline going backwards

On our recent trip from Gatwick to Tampa, we were on a very old not updated plane which meant uncomfortable seating, poor entertainment, condensation dripping out of the moldy light fittings, trays that were so crooked and loose it was tricky to put the disgusting meal on there to look at and decide that I definitely was not going to eat it. Overall, the flight out was on time so that was a positive, however the flight back was delayed by several hours and it took personnel some time to be sent to the gate to manage the delayed passengers. One issue of this delay is that the vouchers that were issued would not have got any food, unless you want a bag of "chips" or a drink and no place in the departure area would accept the vouchers anyway. The crew on the flight are your only saving grace as they were polite and efficient, I think you need to look more closely at maintenance of your aircraft, lot's of the issues I saw were purely light maintenance issues and could easily be resolved. Leaving these tasks to build up and not dealing with them in a timely manner leads to more and more issues building up until it becomes a huge number of maintenance issues.
