I've had them for years

I've had them for years; maybe 5... with 2 lines. They have been ok. 1 normal ported # and 1 cheapo account with new #. I did eventually get tech support by email and it was ok and resolved. Just do not ever have your credit card expire and then you can't activate the new card because the phone died! I guess it's fine for the price... I don't call out much but when I do and I talk too long it seems to cut my call suddenly if I go more than 20 minutes yet when people call me it never cut out (could be VOIP to land line issue.) My main problem at this point is that I need SMS for 2-factor and they say nothing about this feature ever happening; they should at least point us to somebody who can add that feature on the website.

Fair quality phone service but poor customer service by email only. No telephone customer service that I could find.

We got an IP service because our cell service was not dependable in our home. Axvoice had reasonable reviews that I could find and seemed to be the best price. Obtaining the service was easy and easy to install. After 1 year of service we had been doing weekly tests on the phone because we don't use the phone except for emergencies and we had less than five failures of incoming and outgoing calls on the tests. But in the renewal request from the provider, they billed me a month early which double billed for the final month of the original contract. They changed me from annual to monthly billing without asking me and increased my service cost by 25%. They did cut the cost upon request to the same rate as the previous year but told me they were not able to change the billing website to reflect the new contract period and amount. I had canceled the credit card they had on file due to difficulties with another vendor. I was unwilling to put my new card information on their billing page until it reflected the new terms. They said it could not be done. For the above reasons I advised them I would not be renewing their service. 10 hours later I'm notified they attempted to charge my credit card again. They do not have telephone customer service that I can find and their live chat would not connect when I tried it on their website. I've had to do all my communications through email. For that reason I have canceled their service and give them a two-star rating which is mostly a reflection of their customer service and billing practices.

Full marks for call quality

Full marks for call quality. Even though my internet isn’t the fastest but still works absolutely fine. It’s not the perfect service, but we are more than satisfied with having it at our home. Definitely worth every penny.

Best toll-free price!

I’m in the customer support & tech outreach business, so we have to make a lot of calls day in and day out. Most of these are incoming calls, with customers seeking input on any issues they face. I have been using AxVoice from over a year. Their service is quite good and I hardly need to get in touch with their Support team. They have put up everything on the site and there are no hidden tariffs. Yes, some of their policies are strange but they aren’t the only ones to practice them. About the voice quality and other VoIP features, they all are quite fine.
