I placed an order that unfortunately didn't arrive thanks to the courier. Customer Service were excellent and I had an replacement order sent out within days. Lovely products too.

AVEDA please bring back the camomile shampoo

AVEDA please bring back the camomile shampoo!! I’ve ordered from this company several times now, and found the delivery quite quick, but the live chat is hopeless! I’ve been asking for a while for them to bring back the camomile shampoo, and they don’t care, they just fob you off. This company doesn’t care about what the customers want!

Why I don’t buy from their website direct now after almost 10 years of doing so

Been ordering from Aveda website direct for nearly ten years partly because of the reward scheme and partly because of their offers. But these have all gone worse now and have started to buy the same products from other retailers instead, main reason being, - Policy which if the free samples or gift run out , they simply won’t send to you, won’t provide substitute and wont even bother telling you unless you ask customer service. Many customers buy from them because of these free gifts, which without them is not really a good deal compare to other retailers - As soon as I nearly saved up enough points to the top reward ( which took years) they scraped the Antigua hotel reward. - Recently the other top reward which is hotel stay at Lake District also got the free spa treatment taken out and changed to 20% off spa treatment instead. (And this is only in the small prints). - their offers are not as good as the past, less discount, less free gifts, not competitive to other retailers - And when they have good offers, they are usually overwhelmed by amount of orders and have slower than normal dispatch time, and usually won’t give out all the free samples as promised because they run out - 1 litre shampoo and conditioner don’t come with pump anymore, they expect people to use their old one forever under the disguise of being “green”. A litre can usually last me a year and a half and it’s NOT hygienic to keep the same pump forever, it will break at some point anyway they are not designed for a lifetime. Using a 1 litre bottle without pump can really hurt your wrist if you have weak wrist like me. - Used to be free delivery for all orders now only for £40 or above. ( free delivery min. Order from other retailers are usually less) There’s no incentive to save for their top rewards anymore and their deals are not competitive. I however still give them 2 instead of 1 stars because the quality of their products are still good. Well done to their laboratory team not so to the Marketing team.

Disappointing reward scheme

Like a previous reviewer I joined the reward scheme many years ago and have been saving my points up. At one point some years ago I was close to achieving the Ultimate Aveda Experience but seems they have moved the goal posts. I've got really fed up with it and was going to use the rewards on products instead, but the (nutriplenish and/or blonde hair) products I want are not available as rewards! I don't want a stupid paddle brush with plastic bristles when I have a pure boar bristle Mason Pearson brush that cost me over £100! LOL Feeling very cheated.
