April Cornell Tracking Order Status

Ordered 3 items and asked AC to ship on March 17, so the items would arrive after I arrived home from Turkey. Arrived home on March 17 and there was the AC package! A neighbour with a key had taken it off our front porch and put it inside the house. Only 2 of the items had shipped. I checked my email, and found no email from AC explaining why the 3rd item wasn't shipped, though of course I'd already paid for it. I checked the AC website, and this item--white linen pants--was expected to arrive at AC on May 5. (My experience with AC estimated arrival dates has left me deeply cynical.) Because we're moving in early May, I needed a refund, which I got today. Why did I have to phone and email AC for a refund? Why didn't AC offer a refund right away? And many other questions, ending with, Why did I stick with this company for over 45 years? I love some of their clothes, but IMO their customer service and business ethics leave too much room for improvement. Plus their sizing, IMO, is sometimes wonky.

I have bought from April Cornell many times and I find that they have been reliable throughout. Agreed that the sizing may be generous and that they could refresh their styles to be a tad more modern for the price. They tend to use quite a bit of "chemistry" in their fabrics that smell bad and are bad for people and the environment. I would give them 0 stars for not disclosing treatments for wrinkle free clothing. I react to that so yes, I have to return such items at my own cost. BUT, I have been successful at reaching their customer service and discussing this factor.

yesterday after read here about April Cornell , I was going to cancel my order of 3 dresses for my granddaughter. Well I just got my delivery this evening order was place 02/21/23 and today is 02/23/23. These dresses is very cute , I love the fabric and it is stand size 7-8 . I will continuing with them and I will try a dress for my self. Thank you April Cornell

I ordered what looked like a lovely holiday vest. After three weeks, I finally received notice that the item is no longer available. My money was refunded without issue. So, while I was disappointed to not receive the item, and while it took 3 weeks for the company to figure it out, they did the right thing without any work from me. My one previous order came without a hitch. I'll give them another try.

Terrible customer service. I have contacted them via email provided 3 times with no response (tried calling and was told I “had to contact via email” for my type of issue — not receiving something I have been charged for) very frustrated. I would not agree with reviews calling this a reputable company.
