AOSU US Tracking Order Status

My camera so far is very nice easy to use and worth the money. I decided to open up an account and use the cloud offer which is reasonable compared to other companies. I noticed that occasionally I couldn't access the recordings and I had to wait for a couple of hours for me to be able to open them. So I contacted the tech support which have been amazing. One thing I like is you get one person to help no different person each time you contact them. Nicola and the tec team too. They went through everything and has sorted the problem by sending me a free SD card so I had a backup option. I'll definitely wont look at Aosu again just because of the random cloud working but the support that I received was good but hasn't solved the problem I must admit it's my first camera you can control the camera. I find my self watching nothing just to play ,😁. 2 annoying things setting up the tracking sensitivity is a bit fun if you have one place in a alley. But hopefully playing with the settings and getting your partner to walk up and down you can sort it. Secondly if you have it on snapshots I've found it will break a recording up. Not the end of the world but if you don't realise at first you think what's going . when I mentioned it to Nicole she suggested to change to 24/7 recording which I'll do now. Definitely worth a second look !! Update DON'T WASTE £30+ on the cloud it's just let me down when I needed it 🤨

Battery life is good. I've not had to recharge the battery, even over winter. However, trying to connect to the camera live or view notifications is hopeless. It takes so long you might as well look out the window.

Products themselves seem decent quality and cost. Plus homebase means no subscription fees like with Arlo. However the company itself is a mess. Just hope you have no issues. I am sure lots of the 5 star online reviews for them are fake. I order a 2 camera set with homebase and an additional camera. Additional camera does not sync to homebase. Chat support is slow and ineffective. I call and after a long wait put through to a call center in India. They are clueless and unhelpful. I am unable to do a return on the website, I have to open a ticket and wait 24-48 hours and then pay myself to return the product to them. Constantly told conflicting information and that no one was available during USA business hours! They seem to have a decent product, just need customer support in the USA and proper infrastructure to manage their products. I was told I could not buy another add-on camera from their own website - Amazon only!

Setup was straight forward. They work as described. Concerned about network security. Connects directly to router. What guarantees in place my data isn’t being uploaded to an IP address. How reputable is aosu? Can it be trusted?

I purchase the doorbell and outside camera and say these are great solar keeps camera topped up all year and quality of pictures is very good so much so going to buy camera for garden as well .
