Haplogroups are not available

The result of the test are expressed in ethnic and geographical terms. Basically where are my grandfathers from. The haplogroup terms or indexes are not available. Disappointing..

It's OK, lots of nice things, also quite a few annoying ones.

The Good: They have lots of features and keep adding features that are helpful and make sense. Some others already have these features in their dedicated software, so it's nice to see that they start picking these things up as well. I was impressed that other countries' archives were searched as well (my family living in 4 different countries). I've used other software where it's only possible to use the archives from countries where the software was made. So that is a neat feature (behind a paywall too expensive for me). Customer service is trying to help and find a solution for any problem you have. I had a case where the CSR didn't know the answer and he quickly went to double check. He was open about not knowing and apologised and went looking. The Bad: One thing I really can't stand is how overloaden everything is nowadays. Too many buttons, too many features all over the place. They have a good idea for a feature, trying to implement it. But even with the new mini-tutorials, 5 mins later I can't find anymore what I was looking for. Same applies to the family tree, the navigation in there just doesn't make any sense to me (to be fair, other programs have similar issues, in their own way). The subscription rate is just beyond me. I have no idea why I would pay so much money. I'd get it if I were a professional and used this software on a regular basis. But as a private individiual paying such a high monthly subscription is just beyond me. So, I clearly don't want to pay that much (also quite honestly can't afford it, let's face it). So I don't want these features but anywhere I click it asks me to try a feature, use a feature, or "did you know you can do THIS?", only to tell me then when I click on it that I can't use it because of the paywall. That's as bad as having ad banners jumping in your face every 30secs. If someone doesn't pay for the subscription, for whatever reason, deactivate the payable features (or introduce a button where these features can be deactivated manually). It's just getting on my nerves and prevents me from using your product more often. I know they need money to keep their services running, but if it's that expensive, others that would consider definitely won't (like me). Maybe offer a cheaper subscription for services that I would actually use (multiple different subscription models like others do too). My husband has my DNA data on his account and it seems rather complicated to get this moved to my own account. I was given a solution which is not optimal but will look at that at a later time. Though side-note: it involves the two people being available on the phone at the same time. Now if you're not friendly with that person anymore, that will be difficult. ;-) There is a DNA download feature, but no upload feature! (probably because Ancestry obviously tries to sell their DNA kit themselves). The solution could have been so easy. The only alternative would be paying for a second DNA test, which you obviously don't want to do if you have one already! So yeah, despite the fact that the site/company has good ideas I think there is lots of room for improvements. I think I could go on forever, so I should stop here. ;-)
