Information I already knew just from family! What I was really disappointed in, besides spending a bunch of money, was that I thought the results would be more scientific and not just some comparative of info you may already have had in your database. I thought that with a larger data source that Ancestry meant a more in-depth analysis of mitochondrial dna or y dna - but it just seems sort of surface-like information, presented in a bery general way - like I said that I already knew. I used your platform because of the data breach at 23 and Me but as I dug deeper and, not withstanding the breach, they may have been the platform I should’ve used instead. It’s an expensive lesson - one that took me years to get around doing, to get a flimsy bunch of nothing. Surrounding the ‘results’, as you call them, with ad after ad of add-ons was really annoying. You could do better and make it more professional than the obvious money-grab (not to mention information harvesting) that it is. Thanks for making this ‘experience’, as you call it, one that I will share with others - as in a cautionary tale. It certainly was an ‘experience’. Why did I give it a rating of two? Because up to the point of getting the vague not-much - I was actually excited. Its 2 more than the totality of the ‘experience’ deserves.

Everything was pretty quickly Both app and web version are convenient But unfortunately the result is too general I am Eastern European and I wanted to learn more about my roots But the result was “Eastern Europe” thank you I already knew that) I would recommend it for those who doesn’t know anything about their ancestors and may be in this case it is more helpful
