Honesty. That is how this experience could have been better. I specifically searched online for "straw cowgirl hat made in USA" and came upon American Hat Makers. Everything on their site claims that to be the case. Even the little card enclosed in the box says "sourced globally, crafted locally." However, when I looked at the tag stitched inside the brim...Made in China. How disappointing. I feel completely deceived by the information on the website. It doesn't matter if I like the hat or not. It's about supporting businesses with integrity.
