Alton Towers Resort Tracking Order Status

Arrived 12th August, as many did rushed to smiler and jumped in a queue prior to the ride opening at 10am , waited until 1034 to be told there was technical issues and it was closed , then oblivion was closed for technical issues , so nothing in sector X working !! So left x sector and headed for 13 that worked waited 35 minutes , Rita was at over an hour wait after leaving 13 headed for nemesis sub terra , after a length walk since no sky ride !! RITA was then off the rest of the day !! As was oblivion !! So in total from 10am until 6.30pm we managed to get on Smiler 13 Sub terra Galactic Wickerman ( even that had technical issues whilst we were in the queue ). Not a great value for money experience again. Then to top things off on leaving the park the monorail had delays of over 30 minutes to get to splash landings hotel

People rating 1 star are stupid. It’s all your fault that you’re queuing and bla bla bla. Just shut up. Everything is clearly advertised. Don’t go in summer. Get Merlin oasses, you idoits.

Had a lovely time at Alton towers staying up there for the two days with the kids we enjoyed going on most arrives apart from curse of the manor which we fought was rubbish and would not be going on that again. We stayed in slash landing hotel which was lovely and very friendly staff and the kids loved it staying here and we would recommend staying there would definitely go back up towards Alton towers one day soon

I spoke to Abbie in the contact centre and she was extremely helpful and friendly. She resolved the issue I had straight away and she went above and beyond. It's refreshing to receive some outstanding customer service. I'll definitely be recommending staying at the Alton towers resorts to all my friends and family.

Disappointed with our visit on the first day of the season and again today - frequent temporary ride closures ruined our days there. Rita, for example, closed at least three times today and two of those times we'd walked across the park to queue.It was a fine day, too, so the closures were not due to adverse weather. Thankfully, wait times today were lower than when we last visited in March, as on that visit we only managed to go on four rides in a whole day. Both of our latest visits have been extremely frustrating and tiring. Sadly, Alton Towers is no longer worth the travelling and expense. I can't bring myself to give 1 start as the rides are still fun IF you can get on them.
