Africa Imports Tracking Order Status

I ordered 7 different fragrance oils and they all are GREAT, awesome wrapping, Great quality and fast shipping so no disappointment… Keep up the great great job and quality I will order some more.

I purchased several fragrance oils from africaimports.com with the intentions of using them in skin and hair care products. Every legit synthetic fragrance should come with an IFRA compliance guideline to make sure your end product is used correctly and maintains safe amounts of chemicals used to make that fragrance. Africa Imports sold me fragrance oils that they advertise can be used for skin and hair care products, but cannot provide the IFRA compliance guidline for many of their fragrance oils. They are selling products under false pretenses of what you can safely use them for. After trying to email them and also replying to emails they sent me, I finally called their customer service. To say the least, I was disappointed with what I was told in regards to the IFRA compliance guidelines "if they have it, they'll send it. But many of their suppliers do not provide it" I received an email later that day confirming, their supplier does not provide the IFRA compliance guidelines for the fragrance oils that I purchased. So they sold me products that i cannot use safely despite their advertising that they can be used in skin and hair care products. I can return them, at my cost. So the the initial price of the products plus shipping, I'd be out just as much if I shipped them back. I'm not wasting anymore money with this company and I would caution you to not waste any at all.

Yesterday I received a 1 gallon - $149 container of Black Cator Oil for a new product I am developing. The package arrived damaged and when the conceirge pointed out the condition of the package to the delivery person he indicated I should call the company. Today 04.05.2022 I called the company after taking photos of the box before opening and after opening the box. I also removed the oil and sat it on the counter showing the large product loss. I was told I would receive a $16 credit for the loss of product. The credit in no way compensated me for the product loss. After seeing they were not reasonable, I asked if I could return the damaged product to receive a refund and reorder. I was told I could, but when I asked for a return label, I was told I would need to cover the shipping cost. With a $20 shipping cost, due to weight, I decided to accept the loss. However, I want to caution you on doing business with this company. The product was not damaged by my hands, it was due to their packaging and or container. So, buyer beware. I was very disappointed, especially with the cost of the product.

I have been buying from them for a while, but customer service and the way they run things is not good. I ordered something and a piece was missing, instead of replacing the missing piece, they asked me to return the whole thing. I see that as ridiculous. This is not how to fix a customer issue. Looking for other sources now.
