Aeyde Tracking Order Status

I purchased the Aeyde Sofie leather ankle boots from Net-a-Porter, expecting premium quality given their high price and the retailer’s reputation. After just three normal wears—to and from work—the boots started falling apart: the tip of the heel fell off (I found it on the carpet under my desk chair at work!), and the sole began separating from the upper part of the shoe. I contacted customer service and even sent photos clearly showing the issues. To my disappointment, they responded: "We confirm that the damage caused to it is not a manufacturing fault, it is therefore not considered faulty." They also refused to take responsibility, stating:
"As this is already beyond our return policy, we are no longer able to assist." This response was not only dismissive but also baffling. What does "damage caused" mean here? I wore the boots as anyone would for regular workdays—not for anything extreme or out of the ordinary. How can anyone determine faulty craftsmanship or manufacturing issues without actually wearing the boots? It’s now clear to me that both the Aeyde brand and Net-a-Porter are selling throwaway, “few use” fashion disguised as luxury. These boots are clearly not made for long-term durability or true craftsmanship. For the price I paid, I expected an investment piece, but instead, I received a product that barely survived three wears. I strongly caution others against purchasing the Aeyde brand or shopping at Net-a-Porter. My experience has been extremely disappointing, and neither Aeyde nor the retailer lives up to the standard they claim to represent.

I’ve been eyeing the Henry riding boots for weeks, but every time I checked, my size was sold out. Last week I received a notification that they are back in stock and so I ordered them straight away. Although they come with a hefty price tag, I couldn't be happier about my purchase. The craftsmanship is top-notch and the fit is perfect. Highly recommend!

I was aware of the reviews about Aeyde’s customer service before placing my first order, and when I had to contact them directly due to a lost order, I feared the worst. What happened next was a big surprise for me. I have never experienced such an amazing customer service. They were respectful, committed and transparent. I received a full refund in the end. I believe Aeyde has taken the criticism to heart and is striving to improve. In my case, it definitely worked. I will order again as soon as the shoes are back in stock. It’s definitely worth giving them a chance!

Henry boots exceeded my expectations. They look better than on pictures which is a rare case. Design is absolutely delightful. The quality of manufacturing is impressive. My wife said that they are really comfortable straight out of the box what is not standard for pull-on boots. They cheered het up after the terrible experience with Fairfax and Favor Explore boots.
