Good budget carrier. All services meet expectations for the price you pay for a cheap flight. I honestly don't understand other customers who pay $50 for a Houston-New York flight and complain about narrow seats haha

I accidentally booked my flight for the wrong date, noticed the error immediately and called spirit customer service to fix it. I didn't have to wait long before I was connected with a very kind woman who spoke perfect English. Spirit let me change the date of my trip and informed me they now let customers modify their flights for no charge, I hadn't even bought the flight cancellation insurance. The change showed up immediately on my spirit airlines itinerary. So far, I've had nothing but success flying budget airlines, fingers crossed it continues.

Spirit Airlines was a Great, welcome experience. Although i only passed on the flight because of an delay. They welcome you with complementary snacks (free), and you are able to let your seat back without anyone being bothered. Now i shouldve wrote this review in 2019 but still cool

This was our first time flying Spirit Airlines. We had an excellent overall experience but I would especially like to recognize Iasic who assisted us at the self service weigh in and baggage tagging station at Indianapolis. He was very kind and helpful at a point where we had no expectation of service. We were flying because I just lost my brother and I was responsible for making the burial arrangements. I was not myself as I was going through the checkin process. iasics kindness could not have been more timely or more appreciated. I was impressed by the professional conduct and disciplined dress code demonstrated by all of your associates throughout our trip! Thanks to your team and Iasic in particular for making a very situation bearable for us!

Update: After I hung up with the guy, he ended up refunding the flight - but he was trying to get me to pay something. Also - I think I wasn't talking to Spirit directly - but a third party company so be sure you're talking to them directly. I called in to cancel within the 24 hour period. The guy successfully stalled, put me on hold and suggested change offers for more expensive flights until it was after the 24 hour period. Then he told me it was past the 24 hour period.
