I was looking for a home gym sick of the gym but I needed a compact gym it was between speediance and the competition I took a chance with speediance and I have never regretted it. They built a solid machine and they keep doing updates I'll notice a little not as smooth in the cable coming out before I have to contact them it's fixed they keep doing updates the only thing I wish this had was a reset in the rep counter every time you finished the set.

I'm in love with my Speediance Gym Monster! It's compact, fits perfectly in my living room, and offers gym-quality workouts without the gym hassle. The versatility is astounding—I can hit every muscle group at home. And the smart weight system? Genius! It lets me adjust the weight effortlessly, making each workout seamless. No more gym fees! I have the freedom to exercise whenever I please. The Speediance Gym Monster has revolutionized my home gym setup, and I couldn't be more satisfied with this health investment.

I was a Kickstarter backer for Speediance. I initially had my reservations, and I ended up pulling the trigger. That was one of the most exercise transformative decisions I ever made. The machine has been a very effective resistance training tool, and I use it almost daily. The reason for this effectiveness is the ease in the ability to increase or decrease resistance, the ability to combine eccentric and chain modes in my workouts, and the surprisingly good exercise videos, which are very easy to follow. Build Quality: This has been excellent. I have had no problems with the main machine except when I had Bluetooth connectivity issues with the exercise handles—more on the problems I had with Bluetooth connectivity are below. Software: The experience has been great. There was a software overhaul and a refreshed interface. The experience improved heavily based on the company's feedback from the Facebook group. Customer Support: This went from lackluster to excellent in my experience. The company promptly replaced some missing parts of my rowing attachment and replaced my Bluetooth handles with the recently released Bluetooth ring when their Bluetooth connectivity worsened. According to the company, new Bluetooth handles are currently in development and scheduled to be released soon. Also, based on other people's experiences, I am confident that if any issue should arise with my machine, they will promptly help me get it fixed. My cons - No voice control. I wish I could say, “Hi, Speediance, set the weight to 40 LB.” - The platform is heavy. It locks in place when raised and lowers after pressing a release button. A Hydraulic to slow down the platform's descent would have been marvelous. I also wished the platform was a little longer. Most aftermarket benches are often longer than the platform. - I wish more “smarts” were added to the software, slightly lowering the weight to allow you to complete a rep and slightly increasing it in real-time when it detects that the weight is light based on your speed and effort. Yes, there's a spotter mode, but what I described above differs. So far, the Speediance is an all-around resistance training machine with excellent build quality, support, and software without a subscription currently.

I got my Speediance Gym Monster around Halloween 2023, so as I write this review it's nearly 6 months that I have been using the machine for my strength training. So far 6000 minutes of total workout, nearly a million pounds of workout volume, using it 4-6 days a week since purchase. I can't say enough good things about it. So many things have changed in my lifestyle, health and strength - I have a lot more desire to workout. The convenience of just using the large-sized touchscreen display to configure what I want to do, and it's just the cables and one accessory for the type of workout I'm doing makes all excuses to workout go away. I work from home, so I find myself adding a 1 15-30-45 min workout here in there. I have an audiobook/podcast to listen to ? How about adding a quick workout for that specific muscle during that time? It's just that easy for me. Tap tap, connect accessory and get to workout. No plates, no free weights. Now that I am 6 months in, I have also seen so many updates to the software after taking feedback from the community, including ideas I sent it myself. Pretty cool, because it can only get better from here as they have shown they're highly interested in taking ideas and executing them. So many updates so far. When I made the decision to purchase, and comparing with others, I didn't want another monthly subscription. I already pay for two other fitness companies for Peloton and Aviron, I wasn't looking for more. And Speediance gave/is giving lifetime membership. I never felt this looking forward to workout as I am now after a long time of lack of motivation for strength training. These six months have been amazing and it's cool that I can do progressive overload myself with high precision of how many pounds I want to. Also simplifies pyramiding. It's pretty annoying to do this with free weights, right? Looking forward to another six months of more workouts.

The Speediance Gym Monster has been a fitness game changer for me. I had a real problem getting motivated to hit the gym, for a whole host of reasons. The Speediance Gym Monster eliminated all of those barriers instantaneously. Not only that, but it provides me with a truly solid work out. It's well built, mobile, and takes up little to no space when folded up in my little apartment. I had been interested in Tonal, but wasn't keen on paying over $5000 and a monthly subscription fee that was more than most gym memberships. Plus you have to mount the thing on your wall, and then it's stuck there forever. So no Tonal for me. Then I came across the Speediance Gym Monster on Facebook and I was immediately impressed. Everything from the design, portability and software spoke to me. That, and it was substantially cheaper than Tonal, with NO MEMBERSHIP FEES! I did what research I could, but as it's a newer company and product there was only so much I could do. I was a little nervous, but in the end I went for it, and I couldn't be happier that I did. The machine is amazing, and after using it for almost a year I've completely transformed my body. Even when I injured my arm at work (I'm an RN), I was able to use it for Physical Therapy exercises that helped me heal and recover faster. As for Speediance itself, the company is still growing, but it's growing fast and is pretty dynamic. What I love is how interactive the development team is with the user community. There is an official Facebook Group, which is an amazing community and resource in itself (didn't know about it when I was researching). Through the Facebook group the Speediance administrators and programmers interact with the users, getting feedback and taking requests for new features. Usually a bunch of people rally behind a new function or feature and then boom, Speediance has sent an update to your Gym Monster with the new features. Of course, they can't take every suggestion, and some take longer than others, but they get it done. I've been amazed at how much the user community has contributed to the machine's development in less than 1 year. The administrators, programmers and reps are really responsive and help trouble shoot pretty much anything you run into. Is Speediance as a company perfect? Of course not, they're young, there are always some growing pains. But their hearts are in the right place. They support their customers and value them tremendously. Most importantly, they build an amazing product. I would recommend Speediance to anyone who wants to get serious about their fitness, or even for someone who just wants to get started on a more casual fitness journey. You can be a complete beginner or a seasoned trainer, it doesn't matter, the machine performs for all levels. The more you grow, the more it grows with you. My Speediance Gym Monster is some of the best money I ever spent. I couldn't recommend it more highly.
