I am amazed by all the negative reviews as I have now had 2 happy years as a Specialized customer. Love my eMTB and very happy with service from the Ruislip branch in terms of advice, support and spare parts. My local dealer in Dorset has also been fab.

I do tire of binary reviews on TrustPilot: I didn't get what I wanted = 1-star; I got what I wanted = 5-stars! Such manifest catharsis helps no one. When you read the body of these reviews they're often little more than delivery-, logistics- or process-related issues, not genuine 'couldn't care less' attitudes indicating a cr@ppy culture which pervades a company. And so, here's my experience: I have a 4-year old helmet where the inner workings snapped. This was not a design flaw, it was likely user error. So, being unable to find the part in the retail chain, 9+ months ago I reached out to Specialized's UK Customer Support Team. In-between, I had a cycling-related incident which has kept me housebound for ~8 months; however, 2 eMails later and Spesh have picked up where they left off and offered to ship me the replacement for free, despite me offering to pay for the spare! I'm all for holding companies to account but, as a corollary, I like to give praise where it's due too! A similar thing happened with one of their high-end 3-d printed saddles too. I've plenty of Spesh gear - and rate 90% of it as good to excellent - and this type of response will ensure that custom continues. When help is required, so far they've been willing and able.

Had a small issue with my S works saddle David at specialized listened to my issue and quickly understanding my issue and requirement quickly put a solution in place with no fuss no hassle. I felt valued and supported as an end user and had my issue resolved that same day. Thank you Specialized UK.

Meine Frau hatte vor wenigen Tagen einen Totalausfall ihres erst vierjährigen Akkus des E-Bikes Como. Specialized hat sich sofort bereit erklärt, den Akku KOSTENLOS zu ersetzen. Und dazu erst noch aufzurüsten von 500 auf 604 Wh. Das nenne ich einen Service, der überhaupt nicht selbstverständlich ist. Ganz herzlichen Dank dafür!
