Sketchfab – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

I just read the book of a rant from Truebones and I gotta say thats funny that they're going off about stolen content and stolen content being sold when they charge people $29 for animations they got from game rips, and whats even worse the person posted those rips on youtube for free and theygot the nerve to charge people for them. So kettle calling the pot black here.. Sketchfab is a good place to get materials by the way, if you';re starting out or wantto play with 3d models its a good place to get them and a place to show off. After all it's the internet, the moment you post anything on here it has the potential to be stolen. That's just life in general. But to complain like Oh people are stealing and selling, Best look in the mirror first before you start throwing stones ey?

I really love Sketchfab for showing of 3D Models! Be it hand modelled 3D meshes or my photogrammetry scans, Sketchfabs industry leading 3D viewer makes it possible to display high quality content directly in the browser without any additional plugins. Combined with its ease of use and very helpful support using Sketchfab for portfolio purposes or for visual communication with clients is a no brainer! Can fully recommend everybody to give it a try!

After trying out a couple of other sites (over the last 7years) for displaying my 3d models, I keep coming back to Sketchfab. They just make it all work so smoothly! Pros: -Almost every 3d file format supported. -Excellent materials(including matcaps) and lighting controls(even hdri).. sometimes I wonder why anyone uses tools like Marmoset. -AR and VR built in Cons: (Honestly not many left nowadays.) - Limited animation support - The pricing tiers may seem a bit confusing. But in a nutshell you can upload as much as you want if your making them downloadable. ie: If you run out of upload credits, just upload a simple model and make it a free/sell download.. voila upload credits! - Shader nodes not supported yet.. but then not many platforms support that right now anyway

Nice features, easy to use and well integrated into other online platforms. Great for sharing private client work, for updating my online portfolio (Artstation) and sharing my work on social media. Hard to imagine a better alternative!

Sketchfab is easy to use, great for exposure and they are even very nice guys and gals. Most of my work I place on Sketchfab to show off. As a portfolio it gets me clients and I use it for clients to show their products or research.
