After my repaired Rip Curl watch stopped working, I contacted Rip Curl 4 weeks ago as the watch they repaired exactly 2 yrs ago has stopped working. No reply. No follow up. And no way for me to phone them and speak to a living person. I rang Rip Curl Adelaide..." We are a franchise, we don't have a direct number". I finally tracked down someone in another store willing to share a contact number. Spoke to service centre Woman and she states that Rip Curl give their batteries 18 months. At $50 a pop (for repairs), that means Rip Curl expect you to give them $33 every year for the life of your watch. Effing crooks. I'm throwing the watch away as Rip Curl needs to cease circulation. I also boycotting this once great Aussie company indefinitely. A horrid experience all round.

Only useable for a few years, because tide information is not stored for longer in the future. You can send it to Rip Curl for updating, but that would cost more than the watch itself. I guess this is another case of planned obsolesce. Very disappointing.

I would give zero stars if that was an option. This used to be a reliable company to deal with online. Now they are horrendous. I ordered a pair of wet gloves online and I received no email confirmation of the purchase nor at tracking number. There’s no email from them in my junk or spam folders. Their phone customer service has very limited hours of operation and they take a long time to answer the phone. it turns out my online order was successful, but I spent hours trying to deyermine if this was a fraudulent transaction but it’s simply a transaction from a company that doesn’t have reliable web service. Their customer service represented confirmed to me that she often speaks to customers who made an order online, but never received an email confirmation nor a tracking number. If you like their products, I would suggest purchasing from a local brick and mortar store.

First time buying stuff in this store but unfortunately you can't even return it. I have my receipt tags are still intact why can't we return it. You should change this policy if you want your company to grow bigger. Just frustrated with this experience. Very poor customer service.
