I have purchased a lot of the RLC-510A cameras and the external construction is solid, however the internal circuitry seems to be hit and miss. I have purchased many surveillance camera’s over the years and in the past one purchased in the 70s and 80’s lasts around 10~20 years. todays camera’s only last for around 2/4 years having had to replace 40% of my reolink RLC-510A after this time with warranty expired, mind you modern cameras are a lot more sophisticated than their 80s counterparts, maybe that is the reason. With the REOLINK RLC-510A I have had several faults, two of them completely stopped working, whilst others started creating an awful audio hum, and yes, they were tested like for like against each other, the audio hum was not due to anything other than the camera itself, it almost feels purposefully done when they are out of warranty! Anyway; cannot knock or dis the camera for functionality or service and support, I had two fail whilst in warranty and were promptly replaced by REOLINK, just wish they would last a lot longer to get more value for money, at present one camera costs around £10 to £20 per year in hardware, when you have a LOT of camera’s that is not a laughing matter. Personally, I rate the camera for both software and product comparatively against others, but if you are thinking of buying one of them expect to replace it every 2~4 years, esp the motorized pan/tilt versions, this review was about the fixed POE REOLINK RLC-510A. I have given a lower rating because of this throw away culture, I also complained to REOLINK about this and they gave me 10% off buying 4 replacement out of warranty camera’s.

Posseggo un kit poe con nvr, 4 bullet CAM da 5mp e hdd da 2tb da 5 anni, mai avuto un problema, funzionano sempre senza problemi e il prezzo in rapporto alle prestazioni è davvero ottimo. L'unico neo è che se volete aggiungere o sostituire una camera non potete usare marche al di fuori di reolink, ma visto i prezzi e la qualità non sento proprio il bisogno di passare ad altre marche. Altamente consigliato
