I have been here twice this week, lovely pub, lovely staff, great beers and food. Shame about a very noisy group of inebriated girls who think that screaming, shrieking and shouting in a restaurant is a clever thing to do. I will be back but this made for s very poor experience.

My stay at red lion Eureka CA was great...I was staying at Holiday Inn express witch was $330.00 a night with awful beds...moved to red lion for half the price and twice the service...Thank you red lion for a great stay

I've had better stays at Motel 6! This place is the worst. Checking in the front desk argued that I did not have a reservation, then when he found it hesitated to accept my retired ID card for military discount. Red Lion does not respect the years I have given this country? Fine but don't advertise a "military discount." Big sign on desk says quiet hours are from 9PM-9AM. Kids would not stop screaming and running up and down the hallways so I called the front desk and asked if they would politely remind occupants others are trying to sleep. He said, "my clock says 8:59Pm so it's your problem." I asked for a manager and of course they never called back. Also the tub was broken but no calls returned to schedule a repair or exchange room.

The America's Best Value in the local area is a fine establishment with reasonable prices and free WiFi.

So, I booked a reservation on line and paid for the room in advance. The reservation was made for my wife and my daughter. When they arrived at the hotel they were told that the need to have the Credit Card that was used to make the reservation (keep in mind, they already took the money). They were denied the room, ended up sleeping in the hallway of the airport so they would not miss the flight and I am sure someone else ended up with room that I paid for. To add insult to injury Mr. Patel the manager has refused to return the call and front desk clerk (Ms, Keonna) who was extremely rude continuously talked over me. Did not offer any solutions whatsoever. At no time during the booking process was there any mention of the cardholder needing to be present. I didn't need to be present for them to steal my money..... such thieves!!!!!The front desk person was defensive, combative and her demeanor did not represent customer service on any level. It is just inhumane to deal with company and their staff whose mindset is to rip you off.
