Rachio – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

This company’s weather ”intelligence” system I believe is deceiving customers when they are claiming to have 300,000 or whatever it may be weather channels connecting to each other to provide the best “weather intelligence” this is a complete lie. I live in New Jersey a more than normal place and the “weather intelligence” continues to tell me I have raining coming in the next few days when they are completely sunny thus causing the system to do a rain saturation skip. I asked the technician about this who 100% agreed , why don’t you just have it connected to the weather channel that is accurate and works for probably everyone it 10000% works anywhere I have been or checked ahead. These 300,000 networks or whatever garbage is collecting weather intelligence data is beyond terrible and now it is too late to return my system. It was recommended I turn of weather intelligence .. and then for what? For a continuous few days of rainfall to happen and then my gardening is messed up because I will manually to myself. BS . At the same time you cannot water your garden or grass twice in one day with 1 schedule it app makes you create and entire other schedule. I regret my purchase and would look into other systems. BUYERS BEWARE

Kudos to Rachio. The system is great for our home, plants, trees and grass. It save us water and it saves the planet water. Customer service is also excellent

My sprinkler guy recommended this and you can't even set up a manual custom run that saves your time. (That's a quick run and to do that each time you have to resave the minutes per zone because there is no "save" button on that page.) The first lesson in water conservation is to NEVER run "regular" programs. Only water when you need to. So to do that I have to enter my minutes per zone EVERY time I run it. Do not buy this. Also, it said for clay soil and 8 hours of sun it needs to run 30+ minutes per zone. That is insane. I don't know where their data is coming from. We can water two days per week and even the driest grass wouldn't need more than 2 times per day at 12 minutes each.

I"inherited" this system when I purchased my home. It is the worst!! I spent a full day trying to get the thing to work initially. Best I could do was get it to work manually. Was ok with that until we lost electricity for a couple hours one day and that was it, stopped working. Won't connect to internet anymore. After spending another day trying to get it to work, the company states they are sending a new one. That could be nice except now I need to hire an electrician to install the new thing and will spend another day or more trying to get it to work. I don't want to spend money on an electrician, but I'm not going to deal with all the wires that are involved, and perhaps do damage to my home. I just want to water my lawn. Just horrible!

I am so happy with my Rachio smart sprinkler. I can turn on and off zones from my phone for many needs; kids to run through, test areas and to water needed after mowing. The smart features save me money when it rains and also adjusts to the seasons so that I do not have to. I am never going back to a regular ON/OFF sprinkler system. Thank you Rachio!
