OMEGA Watches – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

En janvier dernier, j'apporte ma montre OMEGA Speedmaster en révision chez un horloger certifié par la marque. Cette montre, achetée 11 ans plus tôt pour la somme de 2600 €, honorait sa 2e révision. La 1ère m'avait coûté 700 €, somme déjà considérable pour le prix de la montre. Après 3 semaines d'attente, on me présente un devis de plus de 1200€ pour cette même révision. Délai d'intervention prévu = 2 mois. Aucune négociation n'étant possible, je finis par accepter ce tarif exorbitant (en deux révisions, j'aurais presque pu acheter une montre neuve). Fin mai, je relance l'horloger qui me dit que la montre n'est toujours pas prête, un soi-disant problème de pièces détachées. Après plusieurs relances infructueuses, je me fâche mi-juillet en exigeant le retour de ma montre et une remise sur le prix de l'intervention...nada ! Ce n'est que fin juillet, après 7 mois d'attente (le temps pour commander et réceptionner une voiture neuve, pour les plus lents des constructeurs), que je peux récupérer ma montre, et ce sans la moindre excuse d'OMEGA ni la moindre remise. SCANDALEUX ! On ne m'y reprendra plus, c'est bien la dernière fois que j'achète une montre de cette marque, qui ne respecte pas ses clients.

Omega ladymatic watch took in for .hair repair and service. It took 10 months for me to get my watch back. I have worn it for three weeks and it has stopped working. I have been told no idea how long it will take to repair. Avoid omega at all costs especially when you buy a very expensive watch

I turned in my Speedmaster Moonwatch to an authorized retailer in Washington DC area for repair in February and it was shipped to Switzerland. It is now end of July and I am still waiting to get it back. 6+ months to repair a watch is ridiculous. I started discouraging friends from buying an Omega.

The Seamaster Diver 300 that I purchased from the Omega store in March broke down. My watch is gaining 1 hour every day. I want a replacement, not a repair. I emailed Omega headquarters in Switzerland, but haven’t received a response. I will never buy Omega again. I might consider taking legal action.

At 52 years of age I can with confidence say that my experience of purchasing and owning a brand new 2020 Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph has been one of the most frustrating miserable mistakes of my life. A minimum of 6 months to repair this watch (second time it's been sent away owing to failure) to name one of the many frustrations. The watch has been with the Omega approved repairer for 10 months now. Never ever consider buying one of these watches. One big $14k mistake.
