My Paint by Numbers – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

The shipping number did not work at first, I thought I had been scammed. But then without really waiting for it we received about a month later. Ordered the 28th of november, received on the 14th of january. The paint is fairly complex for a paint by number (about 25 different colors) and the canvas seems to be of real paint canvas quality which we did not expect for such a small amount.

My order finally arrived after almost 3 months. If the costumer service was better and they actually responded to the emails or the tracking number worked there wouldn't be this confusion around their legitimacy.

Good service

In a little torn, to be honest. I'll start by saying I've made two separate purchases from this company, one on July 17th and one 10 days later on July 27th, 2020. I'll start with the first purchase from 7/17. I bought two kits and a set of paintbrushes. One of the kits and the paintbrushes came from inside the US so they came quickly in maybe a week tops. But the other kit didn't come, and I found out at that point that it has to travel here from China. Okay... I thought, that's probably going to take a while so I have to be patient. Their site also clearly explains that the orders which cause them to have to import the kit from China result in a longer shipping time, often up to a month (and from experience, shipping from China takes a month long on a really good month, and we're going through COVID right now so I can't imagine customs is keen to rush). I've given them the benefit of the doubt on that. The second order on 7/27 was placed when I was browsing around out of boredom and came across a kit I knew someone in my family would LOVE. So I purchased it (along with a framing kit and a white out pen) knowing it could be one of those dreaded kits from China and sure enough, it is. That said, again, half of the order arrived promptly and I'm still waiting on the other half. It's currently 8/15 as I sit and type this so it will have been a month since my first order in a few days. I have to say: I'm not really happy about how long it's taking, but I can't be angry either because it says right on the site that the kits from outside the US take a long time to ship and can take longer than usual due to COVID. I did freak out at one point briefly when both purchases were stuck for 2 straight weeks with no movement after arriving in the US but I checked the site and calmed myself when I read that this was normal and meant that they were switching to a different courier. I reached out before I saw this through email and at first I was irritated because I just received a return email reiterating my tracking codes but then I got a second one telling me that the tracking info is likely just stuck and to basically contact them after 30 days if it's still not here. I will concede that I received a response from an actual person (a kind enough woman named Pam) and they even seemed to have a good grasp of the English language as well as patience and professionalism with what I'm sure was the millionth email from an idiot that didn't read the shipping info before buying. That is in low supply these days in any customer service position,so that was a point in their favor. Honestly, while I haven't been psyched about waiting for so long, It was my own decision to buy it knowing COVID would slow down shipping everywhere and it was my own mistake for not reading the info about shipping before my purchase was completed. That said, I don't regret it [yet]. If I don't end up receiving the products, I will definitely be editing or making a follow up post. So for now I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt at 4 stars. I've seen some horrid reviews on here of people saying they've waited several months and I'm just crossing my fingers that I don't end up sharing that fate.

I ordered 4 Original Paint by Numbers on April 23rd and received them today, August 13th. One of them was personalized from a photo and it looks beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised since I wasn't sure if I'd ever get them. Just be patient! There's a woldwide pandemic right now.
