Any website that flashes up a dozen "wait, add this to your order" screens on my way to the cart to check out, is just obnoxious and I would never order from them. I got to that page and put in my credit card number. Then I thought about how insulting and frustrating it was to go through 10 minutes of advertisements to place my order. So, I didn't click on the confirm button. I deleted my info and closed the page. I gave feedback about the ordeal on their website. I then received an email order confirmation. I wrote back and said the order is not authorized. Then I got a confirmation that it is in the mail to me. The bank card was charged. I got the product in the mail and spoke with Rebecca at customer service. I explained what happened. She said they had sent me an email offering 30% refund and I didn't have to send the product back. I asked if they are having problems with their website, and this is what she told me nearly word for word - If you put in a credit card number then back out of it, then it charges. I've had customers do that.. walked away, screen goes black, then the order has gone through. She also added that the new website has bugs.. I asked what their policy is and is that the best they can do for me is offer 30% back even though it wasn't my fault the order went through. (I'm thinking there must be some kind of federal law about this) She sent a message to a supervisor whom she was not able to give me the name of. That supervisor offered a 50% refund with not requiring me to send the product back. I refused that offer. She gave me an RMA# to send the product back for a full refund. But I don't trust them to acknowledge they have received the product back. I also don't trust them to not have put me on a subscription service and try to charge my card again. So, I'm working with my credit card. Also, on the website they show the doctor's skin institute. Rebecca said they are not affiliated with her or her institute at all. So, that might be false advertising. After a few days, my card was credited.
