I having so many problems I sold my 500.00 fur hat for 90.00 and I had been communicating with the customer and she purchased the item and after she received it they locked me out of my Mercari Account and never paid me. I’m furious because I have been scam by this company

Ive been using mercari since 2021 for extra income and also have bought some items and never had any issues Customer service replies to all and any messages promptly and solves any issues.

I have been selling on Amazon and Ebay for years and left as they are not seller friendly. I can list unlimited items on Mercari with no store fees. Very Very happy so far with Mercari.

I have been using Mercari for over a year now. In this time period I have sold items and I have bought items. One of the items I bought was either damaged during shipping or damaged before hand, but there was no way of telling. I submitted a return request and due to the item being damaged and Mercari denied it. The item coasted me $15 plus an additional $20 to fix professionally (parts and labor). The second incident took place the last three days. I sold an item that was brand new, never used, never opened box and the buyer said it was damaged. Mercari approved his return request. Unfortunately, the buyer still hasn't shipped my item back and I'm on a time limit to replace it or get a refund from Walmart because it is covered under a 30 day warranty, which both the buyer and Mercari know because I sent them a copy of the transaction receipt from Walmart. I have exactly 6 days left to get this handled myself or I'm out $60... 1st Time Shame On You Mercari.. 2nd Time Shame On Me... Update! Mercari ended up paying me for my item that I sold that wasn't broken upon shipping (it was a brand new item). I never did receive my apparent broken item back from the buyer. I'm just happy that I finally got reimbursed for my sale. I did previously leave a 2 star rating for this runaround, but I decided to give them a 4 star rating for making it right and because I only had 2 wrongful issues with buying and saling on this platform. Unfortunately, I did close my account already, but I might reinstall it. Mercari thank you for making it right!
