Media Temple – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

I was a Media Temple customer for many years, all seemed ok. Until the company was sold to GoDaddy earlier this year. Now my experience of trying to maintain my account inside of GoDaddy has been real bad, the two products aren't merged functionally, the service can no longer be used easily or quickly. I was on the phone to GoDaddy support yesterday for two hours and it's still a total mess. The operator (not his fault) had no info or briefing about what or where Media Temple was -he had no clue. At the beginning of the call he was Googling it on the external web. It doesn't inspire confidence in either company. Both the legacy of Media Temple and the reputation of GoDaddy. It seems like a merger or acquisition that has been managed really badly. It's wasted hours and hours of my time.

Been a customer for 10 years and have had the most absolutely despicable service from GoDaddy since the changeover. Websites down, emails down, support staff have no idea or simply lie. GoDaddy then deleted all of my legacy email services from the transitional MT/GoDaddy servers. I've spent about 6 hours on the phone or chat support to these people and the service and reliability of the hosting gets worse every time.

Happy customer for over ten years. Only negative thing I have to say is that occasionally your website goes down, but don’t all… and they monitor/alert you to status. Good speed. Great support… who has many a time walked me through situations I was not prepared for when it wasn’t even their responsibility. No complaints.

I was almost hesitant to put this review here as I'm seeing that many people rating the mt™ very low. My experience is different and perhaps give you a slightly different perspective - I have been a satisfied customer of mt™ for more than 7 years now. I have run more than 12 domains for SME's enterprise and have no problem or deal with any issue or challenge we have come across. None of that should put me off from using these guys as a SAS service. The availability of services was incomparable to others. Mine and my partner's site runs as they should without any major glitch. Tech support responding immediately and sent me the summary of our conversation once we finish resolving the upgrade or further integration. Ok, I'm not a technical type as per se. I know what is SSL, how to install DB and manage users. So those who looking for some #terminal #matrix #access thing I'm not it and I can not refer to it. I'm a very happy customer and will recommend this service to any of my client.

I'm on the MT grid service. I host about 10 websites from one account, and they're always relatively fast (one is a bit slow at times, but I'm pretty sure that's an problem with my 3rd party DNS). The free CouldFlare railgun support is particularly interesting.
