I placed an order and after I did not receive the $40 worth of light bulbs I ordered with the light, I sent them an email. They replied and said that they expected them to ship in 3 weeks. I waited & waited and never received them. I sent another email requested the light bulbs to be cancelled and a refund issued. They replied saying they cancelled them and I would receive the refund once the finance manager approves it. Well, after 3 more emails to them and 8 months later, I still have not received the refund. Will not be ordering ever again.

Ordered fixtures 1.5 months ago and 2/3 still not delivered causing a delayed project completion and extra electrician visit. Denied my very reasonable request to overnight. Horrible experience with very slow or no response to questions. They were apparently investigating but no one told me until I finally got someone on the phone and insisted on some explanation for delayed delivery.

I made an order 2/12/24 for over $650. Half the order shipped on 2/24, and I was notified the other items were back ordered and would arrive 4/24. Then it was a shipping delay: 5/22. Then, another delay: 6/7. At that point I tried calling them but the 800# didn’t work. So I emailed. By now it was the end of May and my renovation, for which I needed lights, …needed to install the lights. So I could wait no longer and had to buy something else (obviously, from another vendor) to install. I initiated a return for the unopened box from Lights. At the same time, another delay pushed the estimated date to the unshipped item to 6/19… remember I ordered in February! I shipped back the received and unopened box on 6/7. After a couple of weeks, we noticed we still weren’t refunded, and started corresponding with CS. We quickly realized we were talking not to a person but to ChatGPT (a service called Richpanel), who was making a preprogrammed excuse about “system upgrades” and “accounting approval” to avoid giving us back our money. So yeah, it’s the end of July and Lights has all of their product AND my money. It’s a scam. Maybe this was a real company once, but it’s not now.

Mixed feelings - I received most of my lights and LOVE them. However, I have now been waiting over 7 months for just 4 lights. The main problem is a lack of communication. Lights.com's marketing is amazing but their followthrough and communication is terrible. They never initiate communication about shipping. They never email with a tracking number or anything so you have to log into your account to check status and the information there is lacking clarity. I've been waiting and checking my order for 7 months and, unless I initiate an email (don't bother calling - you won't get anyone and the messaging refers to the pandemic and the year 2021 - it's now 2024!!!) I can't get any useful information. I just want the truth. Are my lights stuck in the Panama Canal? Just tell me so I have some understanding. That would go a long way. Instead, I'm just left in the dark, hoping they will arrive.
