GOBI HEAT – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

Long story and not fun! This is a long story, but I'm going to try to make it shorter. In December, I ordered a blanket powered by battery, with an extra battery backup. It was for emergency situations, and I was happy. I had to wait, because the company was manufacturing more, so it was on backorder. Sometime in January, around mid-January, my order was shipped out. Upon receipt, it smelled of Tide, and it did not function properly. It kept turning off on its own, and it never got to any of the temperatures it stated it would. I tried calling Gobi to no avail. I emailed them many times, receiving some response, but I could not reach them by phone. Unlike many, I managed to get them to pay for return shipping, mainly because it was their fault. It was a pain though, and I had to send many emails. I also had to open up a credit card dispute. Eventually, in February, they refunded my money. This is when things got strange. In March, Gobi Heat sent another blanket to me, and also, they sent the same batteries I had returned to them back. I hadn't ordered anything, and it was confusing. Although we had already settled this, they opted to send me another blanket, causing issues once again. It might seem like I'm complaining, but I had to contact my credit card company to make sure Gobi Heat hadn't billed me again, and it appeared as If they had billed me. Upon asking them, they gave a lot of confusing answers, and insisted that they had called me and made an agreement that I would get a new blanket at some point. If this seems confusing, that's because it is. The fact is that they gave me a refund that they forgot about, for some reason, a month later sent me a blanket, and will take no responsibility for their confusing and gaslighting actions. My credit card company has assured me that I owe Gobi Heat nothing and that I received a refund. I guess I'll do what Ben told me to do and enjoy the blanket. Make no mistake though. If you do business with Gobi, you likely will get used products and bad customer service. Think twice and communicate a lot beforehand. It's best to walk away! Sad because this type of blanket is important. Maybe they will improve! Date of purchase: December 19 Date of receipt: some time after January 19 Date of first refund: February 7 Date Gobi sent out blanket I never reordered and insisted it was my order, saying they never refunded: around a week ago in early March. I hope this is over.

Awesome heated clothing. Great customer service. Had to do an exchange into a larger size, but customer service helped me out. Super fast shipping. Would definitely recommend.
