Yardzen – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

I had high hopes based on the reviews I saw (only on their website, I know red flag), so I went for it. I paid for a full yard design job. While I am a designer, I don't know anything about yards and plants, so I gave them my thoughts up front. Even gave them an AutoCAD drawing with dimensions and my ideas to get the ball rolling. All I needed was for them to fill in the gaps and make my space beautiful. In only a week on so they had the design done, so I was pleasantly surprised. Yet there was a lot that they forgot to put in, or just ignored my ideas that I wanted incorporated. So I saw a button to push to (for a $100) you could have a call with the design team. Although I didn't feel like I should pay additionally for their error, but I did it anyways because I wanted to get this design finalized and I thought talking to a person live should remedy the situation. Once again, the design was ready and again things still weren't done right. I then paid again (about $300) for a revision and another meeting with a design consultant. Don't get me wrong the design consultant seemed to understand what I was saying and took notes along the way, but yet again the revised design wasn't reflecting what I asked for. I'm not sure if it's just a breakdown in communication, from the person I talked to then describing changes to the actual person applying the changes to the drawings or a misunderstanding on the designer's side, or maybe they don't have a quality department making sure all changes asked for are properly applied, but I was disappointed at this point. Ultimately, we went through multiple revisions, and I'm still not satisfied with the results. I almost felt at times that maybe they do this on purpose to be able to charge extra for multiple revisions. In any case, lesson learned.
