Wireless 1 – Cashback, Rebates & Rewards

I purchased a Razer Blade Laptop from this company and within a month or two it wouldn't charge properly. After contacting the support team they asked me to send it back to them. I was very hesitant to do so because my laptop now contained alot of sensitive data and project files from work and music production that couldn't properly be backed up. After speaking to a manager I was advised I could send it back to them without the SSD. I did this and then after a while without contact I called them up to figure out what was going wrong only to find out that they apparently wouldn't do any repairs unless I sent the SSD containing all my personal data. I then asked them specifically if I did so not to erase it because I was unable to backup certain files and I reluctantly sent it back. I've just received my laptop today and all of my data had been erased. I specifically sent it back without the SSD to avoid this exact situation from happening and was told I needed to send the SSD for the warranty to be processed. At no point did anyone ask my permission to wipe all of my data. I understand that it was sent off for repair but not a single person liaised any of this with me even after trying to contact Razer. After contacting wireless 1 about this extremely frustrated I promptly received a phone call from an individual personally apologizing and taking responsibility for the mess up. He also offered to compensate me with some high end gaming gear from Razer and organised to ship it out free of charge. Understandably it doesn't get me my data back. However, I can see that they care about customer service and want to try to make the most of a bad situation so I respect it.
