Man, so sad to hear they closed! I purchased a pillow from them (that read, what part of meow don't you understand) in the early 2000's and people to this day ask me where I purchased it! My last purchase was last year. I bought a green/yellow floral scarf and I get compliments on it all the time. They had some very cool one-of-a kind-items.

I have been buying items from this company for a long time. I had hoped to place an order a week ago only to find the website is no longer working. Until December 2022, I had never had issues with orders shipping to me. The last items I ordered December 2022 took much longer than in the past. However, I received those items. I received phone calls when items I ordered were sold out. This company was a go to for holiday items and other neat things I could use to decorate my Victorian home. I hope they come back on line again.

For years I have purchased things from Victorian Trading Company. I even placed one last order in late November. I received the order right before Christmas and was sad to see the website and store are gone. I never did get an email that the item shipped, but it showed up. I enjoyed their unique gifts. I hope they are restructuring but I suspect that may not be the case.

This was my first time ordering from Victorian Trading Company and my experience has been unsatisfactory. I order 3 sets of plates from them on 12/20 and have not received them or received an email stating they have been shipped. I have tried viewing my order status online. Everytime i go to their website it is down. I also tried contacting them by email, but nobody has responded. Their automatic response states they will respond in less than 72 hours. I have yet to receive a response. I really wanted the plates I purchased, but at this point I'm ready to walk away. The processing fee and shipping fee should be waived at this point. It has been over the estimated shipping time. Luckily they have not charges my paypal or my card. I am going to keep an eye on this, but at this point I am guessing I will not be receiving my order

I ordered several items for Christmas on 12/17/22, and paid for shipping with the understanding that this would take 5 to 7 days and that the purchases might arrive after Christmas. I received a confirmation the next day, which stated that I would be notified when the items had shipped. I received no further notification and checked several times over the next 10 days and found no indication that the order had been shipped. I several times entered the order number in the tracker on the website and got the response "Order/Tracking Number not found" and a recommendation to call the Customer Service number. I several times called the customer service number and got only the recorded that message that "we are unable to fill any more orders" and instructions to use the company's website for any continuing problems. I contacted the company by email and received an automated response on 12/30/22 that a "ticket" had been generated and a customer service representative would contact me within 72 hours. There was no electronic or telephone contact between then and 1/4/23 and no response to two further emails. The Victorian Trading Company website now "refuses to connect" and the customer service number as well as another number listed for the company is disconnected. On the afternoon of 1/4/23 the website indicated that the company is "permanently closed". I believe that I and others who did business with this company have been defrauded, and am filing complaints with the Kansas and Ohio Attorneys General.
